Wyatt and Lindy have been squaring off since they first appeared as side characters in previous books. Wyatt’s been pushing Lindy’s buttons while she tried to freeze him out and keep her distance. Too bad for Lindy that they’re partnering up for business because they’re about to get a lot more time together. Lindy’s promoting wines and tours through her vineyard using Wyatt’s horses, and Wyatt is featuring the experience as an excursion available to his new ranch/inn guests. There’s been a love/ ...more

Good Time Cowboy was a delight to listen too.

Lindy and Wyatt drive each other crazy. They’ve recently tied their business together to help promote the dude ranch Wyatt is trying to get off the ground and so, they have to suck it up and deal with each other.

These two have some issues to get over; before they can come together.

Wyatt’s got a lot on his plat. He's got a few secrets too. He hasn’t told his family one important thing about the Ranch and we also learn about an incident in his childho

Maisey Yates is an author who knows how to write Cowboys and the women who throw them off their game. Good Time Cowboy is part of connecting books and this time she focuses on Lindy and Wyatt.

Lindy is the type of person who needs and likes control, order and results. She owns a winery and has worked to make it become a respected company. She needs to have more business and one way to do it is to partner with the ranch next door.

I love reading Maisey Yates when I need a reprieve from all the heavy dramas I have been reading. Something about her cowboys are irresistible; and Wyatt Dodge did not disappoint!

Lindy on the other hand took a bit of time to warm up too, but the electricity these two had made for a fun, quick read.

I have been waiting for Lindy’s story for about 3 books now and somehow, I was a little disappointed.

I loved Lindy and Wyatt. They’re both so stubborn and they have excellent banter and chemistry. I loved the button pushing. Of course it’s always fun to see how the previous couples are doing.

Plot wise, it felt really repetitive. There were long blocks of inner monologue and a lot of pushing away. I thrive on dialogue and maybe that’s where my interest fizzled. There were a lot of feelings to w

"He wasn't a train she had missed, but one she had been destined to catch later."

Lindy Parker doesn't like rodeo anymore. It remind her of her ex-husband, who cheated on her and destroyed ten years of marriage. She got her revenge, thanks to a prenup agreement, and gained full ownership of his family's winery where she put her heart in. Working with her former sisters-in-law is no problem, they became like siblings to her. The last thing Lindy thinks she need in her life is an other cocky bul

I have read all the books in this Gold Valley series as well as the Copper Ridge series and I think this one is one of my favourite books… so far.

I will admit that I had a bit of a hard time getting into this story, because there is a lot of back story between Lindy and Wyatt and to understand their relationship, you have to get through their pasts. Each of them had something they were hiding from the world and their families and in order to get through their daily lives they had to hi

Yates and cowboys. My happy place. Good Time Cowboy was full of cowboy goodness.

The Gist: Lindy and Wyatt. Well they drive each other crazy. But they've recently tied their businesses together for a promotion-- she owns a winery, he owns a neighboring dude ranch-- so they're having to suck it up and deal with each other. And the damn pesky attraction that's always simmered below the surface.

Over the summer, I jumped off the Maisey Yates bandwagon. She’s prolific and I did have an ARC in the TBR. Something Something Cowboy. I read the first page, slapped the Kindle shut and moved on. No can do. There it was *eye roll* the typical Yates antagonism, the heroine with the defiant mouth, the surly and/or laid-back hero … usually, this is reading catnip for me. I quixotically thought, Yates and I are parting company. You’d rightly say: here you are, MissB., reviewing another Yates romance ...more

I love Wyatt. I love the way he comes off as easygoing and not caring but deep inside he cares a great deal and feels so much. His guilt is hard to see only because he shouldn’t feel any. He feels he needs to repent for his past and he doesn’t. He is a powder keg and when he blows it will be the release he needs and will help him heal and go on. Wyatt is the one who takes care of everyone but himself for he has closed himself off in fear of being hurt again. He has had to pick himself up so many ...more

Good Time Cowboy features a wonderful romance set in a charming small town.

Lindy Parker may have gotten Grassroots Winery in her divorce, but she's poured everything she has into it and she'll do anything to make it a success including teaming up with rancher Wyatt Dodge. As a friend of her ex, Wyatt should be off limits but that's never stopped the attraction Lindy feels for him. While the two work together on a joint venture between their properties, the attraction between them grows. And befo

There's a reason I keep reading this books: I know exactly what I get. Even if it's not a very exciting story, sometimes that's all you want. No surprises. No bad endings. Just knowing what you get.

This is the book about a hard, rough cowboy, who meets a soft, squishy woman he had a moment of attraction with at one point in life, sooner or later. By chance the two of them get to have hot no-strings attached sex and from there on the problems only being.

My Review:
Enemies to least that's what this book seems like on the surface, but these two MC's have been fighting more than each other for a long time...and that little twist added so much to this story. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to watch these two work toward their HEA.

So far, I've enjoyed this entire series, but I think that Wyatt and Lindy have been my favorite couple so far. I like the partnership they've formed although neither one is sure about working with the other. My he

Good time cowboy is the third book in the Gold Valley Series. The stories are interconnected but it can be read as a standalone.

Lindy is trying to prove herself and running the vineyard that she claimed after her recent divorce. She has a long way to go and first had to believe in herself before she can make others believe in her.

Good Time Cowboy is the third novel in Maisey Yates' Gold Valley series, and if there's one thing about her novels, it's that they grab you and don't let go until the final page--in my case, I got to that last page at 5:00 a.m., and this novel gets 4.5 stars from this sleep-deprived reader.

The main characters in this novel are Lindy Parker, who owns and operates the winery and vineyard that one belonged to her cheating ex-husband, Damien, whom she divorced 2 years earlier after discovering that

If you're looking for an intelligent read with all of the feels, check out Good Time Cowboy by Maisey Yates, the latest entry in the Gold Valley series.

In the previous two novels, it was apparent that Wyatt and Lindy were going to come together at some point. They seemed literally combustible, rubbing each other the wrong way, exchanging barbs.

Maisey Yates is the cowgirl queen of the angsty western romance. What I love about her books is that the difficulties that get in the way of the happy ever afters between her characters always feel real and never contrived. There are no misunderstandammits, just interesting people with too much baggage who get in the way of their own happiness by being human but not by being stupid.

That’s been the story through the Gold Valley series and through the series
The first two books in this series introduced Lindy Parker. She owns the local vineyard having gained ownership when her former husband cheated on her. While many townspeople think of her as a gold digger (she grew up on the "wrong" side of town), his sisters have stuck with her. Also sticking with her, at least in one sense, her ex's best friend, Wyatt Dodge.

Wyatt was struck by Lindy's beauty the first time he saw her. But she was his best friend's wife. His former best friend. Now Wyatt and L

Good Time Cowboy is Maisey Yates latest offering in her Gold Valley series. I’ve been a Yates fan for a few years now since I read her Silver Creek and Copper Ridge series. If I’m being totally honest, while I’ve enjoyed her earlier books in the Gold Valley series like a television spinoff series I didn’t really think they were quite as good as her Copper Ridge series. But this book IMHO easily stands with the best of that earlier much beloved series.

There’s just something about the worlds that Maisey Yates creates, featuring characters in two picturesque Oregon towns of Gold Valley and Copper Ridge, that grabs my attention and has me interested from the start. Her romances always feature a fiesty heroine and a smooth talking cowboy, but both always have their problems and hang ups keeping them from finding happiness in their current lives. We’ve met Lindy and Wyatt in a few of the previous books in the author’s series, and now it’s their ti ...more

Welcome back to Gold Valley, where the only think more memorable than the sunsets are the people.

This time around we're getting the scoop on Lindy Parker...two years divorced, and the woman behind Grassroots Winery, she's a force to reckoned with, but that doesn't mean the gossip doesn't fly. It shouldn't with how her ex exited, especially with his very sisters standing by their sister-in-law instead of their can't-keep-it-in-his-pants-good-for-nothing brother. Well, I suppose he was good for so

This story has been a long time coming. Lindy first appeared in the Copper Ridge series and I’ve been anxious to find out more about her ever since. As usual, I was not disappointed. Maisey Yates always comes through with giving her characters realistic yet complicated back stories.

If you’ve been reading this series, you know Lindy and Wyatt get under each other’s skin. But, unless you’re new to reading this genre, you also know that means there are a lot of feelings under the surface. And boy a

After a devastating divorce Lindy Parker has been left a wounded woman who has no plans on welcoming love back into her life ever again; at one point in time she had everything she thought she could want, but little did she know her husband wasn't on the same page, so he shut the book on them and moved on before the ink was dry on their divorce papers. In the last year she has begun to piece herself back together again, easing her pain by pouring all of her energy and free time into her winery, ...more

For at least two books now (definitely for the other full-size Gold Valley books, IDK for sure about the novellas...they tend to focus more on the main couple, so that's mostly what I remember about them) I've been dying for Wyatt and Lindy's story. It was clear that there was something there--all that delicious antagonism on her part and snarky cockiness on his had to be going somewhere--and phew, what a place it got to! Alright, so this is the third book in the Gold Valley series, and of course, it's a stand alone but it's fun to read them in order because we see little pieces of the couples from the other books in this one. That and the story for Lindy is introduced in the other two books, we learn she's divorced and basically took her ex to the cleaners and took over the winery which was long held in their family, and some people are still a little bent about that. But in this book Lindy finds herself having ...more
