If you are a fan of Regency Romance, and you enjoy "second-chance" love stories, then you will find "A Bride for Lord Albany" to be just your cup of tea. I would give the story a 4.85 because of some editing issues, which pulled me from the story. The tale itself is an interesting read. I love the characters being older and knowing their own minds. Emma was still a bit spoiled, but John Winge, Lord Albany, is perfect.

A Bride for Lord Albany

I enjoyed this story about a young couple who were attracted to each other but were too immature to make a match. This changed years later when she was a widow and he had never married.

Second chances are twice as sweet

I love second chance romances. This tale of love lost and then regained is a short but sweet story. Very enjoyable

My Musings

I thoroughly enjoyed this emotionally charged romance with engaging characters and a satisfying plot. This is a sweet romance, along the lines of a traditional recency and a joy to read. Happy ☺reading 📚!

I found this a really good book. Emma is a strong character. She has cared for her children and seen them make good marriages. Now it's her turn to look for happiness.
