Living Well Through Lent 2018: Loving with All Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind

Rate this book
Lent is a time for introspection and self-reflection, a time to reflect on the core of what it means to live a Christian life. And there is nothing more central to that life than loving—loving with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind. For people of faith, love is not an abstract or feel-good concept, but an urgent call to radically incarnate love in how we relate to God, our neighbor, and ourselves.

Designed for use as an individual reflection or for group study, this 76-page guide provides a foundation for seeking a deeper experience of love and Lent, an experience that will help prepare us for the true meaning of Easter.

This guide includes reflections
• The Rt. Rev. Mark Bourlakas
• Anna Fitch Courie
• The Very Rev. Cynthia Briggs Kittredge
• The Rev. Canon Debra Andrew Maconaughey
• The Rt. Rev. Steven A. Miller
• The Rev. Jay Sidebotham
• The Rev. Canon Stephanie Spellers
• The Rev. Dr. Scott Stoner

Solid set of short reflections on what live means and simple ways to practice loving God and others (and receiving that love yourself). Mostly things I already knew, but presented effectively and thoughtfully.
