Hello my fellow Bibliophiles:
This book is not for the feint of heart (just kidding, lol). This is a book about hunting fossils in the land of citrus and sunshine (aka, Florida). I saw this book last year and was finally able to obtain a copy in may. If you're into fossils it is a great work. It explains lots about Florida fossils and how to find them. It also helps a bit in identification. Best of all are the maps to the hunting sites.
If you like getting out into nature and looking for pieces opf the past then don't let this book slip by you. If not...check it out anyway. You just may find a new hobby to take up more of your time. Either way it's fun and informative reading.

A fascinating read!

I picked this up to peruse with my dino & rock-obsessed Little and ended up really enjoying it!
We had no idea that there were once Rhinoceroses, tapirs, and even long-necked camels that lived in Florida way back in the Miocene era. Turns out climate change had a lot to do with it!
