This book is recommended for 18+ due to graphic sexual content and explicit language.
I really enjoyed all three of these books. Lilly Atlas does a good job of making the characters come alive. I loved the way the relationships played out, not just between the romantic couples but also among the guys in the MC and among the women. There was humor and wit and the dialogue was good. So why didn't I give the books a higher mark? If I could have given 3 1/2 stars, I would have. What brought the score down were all the grammar errors in the books. I can handle a few typos, but there were too many to count. Also, the author needs to use the past perfect tense when describing something that had happened before something else in the past. Many times she doesn't do that, which is awkward. She really needs to get a good proofreader to find and correct all these errors.
There were two more errors, which in my opinion are more serious. The drug addict that Lucky talks to is named Robbie, but in one spot he's referred to as Rex, so I'm guessing that Ms. Atlas started out calling him Rex and then changed her mind. In that same book Lucky and Kori visit Emily in the hospital after she's given birth. The baby is referred to as Jackson. In the next book Jester mentions Emily and his daughter. So did the author forget that Jester and Emily had a boy in the previous book? Again, a good proofreader could have caught this.
I love this series and the people in it and that's why I will only review 3 and 4. These two books were great and I was fully invested in their stories and happy to find out how they were. I couldn't read Snake because even though I know it's fiction I felt like it didn't deserve the attention. Sorry love the others but won't read that one.
The last few books in this series were absolutely fantastic, and I must admit, the last one truly surprised me, especially since I liked it so much. It was certainly an unusual twist, but not an unwelcome one. Overall, this has been an outstanding series that no one should miss! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and terrific author.
I had read and reviewed Acer before I got the box set
Lucky and Kori- great story. Sometimes wanting to scream at Kori to just tell him! But as always an HEA
Was not sure I was going to read Snake -he was such a terrible person - I didn't think he could change that much. But was hooked on the first page - so glad I read it
I didn’t know how this story was going to play out given the previous books but I LOVED IT! What an awesome story. It even had me tearing up in places. I was not a fan of Snake but this was such a unique twist it kept me wondering what would happen next. I will leave it at that because I don’t want to give away anything.
Wow. This boxed set was pretty awesome. I loved the characters, plot and storyline.
Each book has an Alpha man and his woman. The MC life. Ups and downs. Love❤and Hot🔥 sex.
When I got to the last book, Snake, I said "No way". I wasn't a fan of his for obvious reasons. I decided to give it a read. Things happened. Change - he became Nick with a past.
I am glad I have read all her MC books in the No Prisoner series. All stories r well written, surprised Snake got his own book. Guess he earned it. What a mean guy.
I really enjoyed this last? No Prisoners MC story. After seeing the Snake character in previous stories be a hardcore villain, it was interesting to watch his transformation to a different man when given a second chance.
I loved all the books in this series. Was very leary about reading Snakes story, but I'm glad I did! All the books were steamy and sweet with a bit of angst thrown in. In search of more books by this author, yeah she is that good.
