As informative as it is lovely, Homes in the Wild is an adorable nonfiction picture book from author/illustrator Lita Judge that shows that wild creatures—from beavers to bobcats, and sloths to squirrels—aren't so different from us after all.

Judge always draws the cutest animals, no matter what type! In this adorable nonfiction book, we read about all sorts of nests, dens, and residencies of various animals. Some of them are ones we all know, like tigers and raccoons, but there are also likes of exciting ones you may not have heard of, like the Silky Anteater or Long-Eared Jerboa! There is such a variety of homes to live in for each creature, and this gorgeous book does a fantastic job in illustrating that.
