This little book is part of the Building History Series (for Young Adults) and met my purpose. I'm going to visit Versailles and wanted to know a bit about it before I go. The author provides information about the building process, the personalities of the builders, and the historical context, along with photographs and descriptions of the buildings, rooms, and gardens. I can't wait to see Versailles for myself.
