Gotta love free online PDFs. A finger injury has me not climbing for a month, so I’m making an effort during this time to prehab and rehab every single body part I ever could or already have hurt. 2 weeks into the protocols from this book and I’m feeling pretty good, so 4 stars I guess. The definitive guide on how to “climb injury free” and 100% useless and boring if you don’t want to read about that

Excellent book! I bought the book shortly after I had pulled a finger pulley and heard it pop when I grabbed a tiny finger pocket hold. The injury was severe enough that a hard cyst grew on the joint around the injured site. I then had to take a couple of weeks off climbing for my finger to recover, which I was so bummed about. Obviously, I wish I had bought this book before my injury because something like this most likely would not have happened if I had read and practiced the book earlier. But I think it was a good thing, nonetheless, because I took the couple of weeks to really soak in all of the information from Dr. Vagy's book to not only rehabilitate my finger, but also to strengthen my finger and prevent future injuries (shoulders, neck, wrist, elbow, etc). I really do believe that this book helped me climb even stronger than I was pre-injury. I am able to take more risks now, knowing that I have done all that can to ensure that I don't get re-injured. Dr. Vagy does an excellent job explaining numerous injury-prevention warm ups and antagonist strengthening exercises. Oh, and his dirtbag tips, in learning to make your own rehabilitation tools out of household items, are the best.
