If I'd Known is my first read by Paige P. Horne, and she certainly left an impression on me! When I saw this book was based on a true story, I knew I had to read it! For anyone who lost the love of their life to an early passing, reading this book is a must. I lost my husband to cancer and there are parts in this book that I could see myself living through as well. The author did her mother-in-law and the love of her life true reverence in her writing. A young love found, lost and found again to only loose to soon. An absolute excellent read!

This book will make you laugh,cry,and have all the feels. Being based on a true story makes it even better! Only some people get to experience a real true love. Charlotte and Travis definitely had that true love. If you are looking for a love story to read this is definitely the book to read.
Oh my goodness! This book had wrecked me. The amount of tears that are coming down are insane. A love like Travis's and Charlotte's cannot be recreated. Hold every moment dear . Read this book people! It’s based on actual events and had me shaking my fists and crying out loud “why God why?” It’s so heartbreaking and the phrase that kept going through my mind was “time is a thief.”
How my heart breaks for the real Charlotte and Travis. I applaud Paige for writing this story for those people in her life. Without even knowing the story is real, the book still has such an authentic feel. I loved it!

Reading this book was a true experience for me. It took a few days to let my emotions settle before I could write this review.
It's been a while since a book touched me so much. Paige is a new author to me, but I've added her whole catalog to my tbr list and will most definitely be reading her work again.

This is the first book I have read from Paige and it certainly won’t be the last! I couldn’t put it down! Charlotte and Travis's story was so heartbreaking yet beautiful! It was written really well and I like how it is written in the past and the present. This was my first read by Paige P. Horne and wow, did it leave an impression! I can easily say this is one of my all-time favorites love stories. It was a beautiful, but yet, tragic and heartbreaking story that left me crying like I have never cried before. What makes this even more of a tearjerker is finding out that it's based on a true story. Make sure you have a box of tissues handy for this one. You will definitely need it.

There are not enough stars out there to give this book a proper rating. I was given the honor of an ARC and I honestly would buy this book over and over again. The book is based on a true story which makes it all the more beautiful and tragic.

Why haven't I ever read any of Paige P. Horne's books before now? That was the first thing I thought after finishing If I'd Known. Well, after I collected myself and all of the emotions this book made me feel. I enjoyed every part of this book, both the scenes in the past and the present. Maggie was probably my favorite character thanks to her constantly making me laugh. I really hope I am still as full of life and adventure as she is when I'm her age. This is a tough one to review because for most of the book, I wasn't all that engaged with either the story or the characters. I liked what I read from the blurb and that's why I bought it. A life-long love is always interesting to me and I had high hopes for this one. However, I felt as if something were missing and perhaps it is in the style in which the author wrote it.

If I'd Known is a beautiful story of two people who meet, fall in love, but face challenges and obstacles along the way. I felt like I was reading the intimate pages of someones diary. Amazing love story. The story is like watching a movie unfold. Travis and Charlotte each find there one true love at 17. Fate stepped in & separated them for 30 years . After 30 years distance , fate & second chance at love brought them back to one another. You will laugh & cry , as well bring back some memories of your own teenage crush.
