A solid level 2 reader book that follows the movie loosely. However the fact that it didn't follow it exactly was a benefit to me, considering my 5 yr old went on to tell me all the differences between the movie and the book. Which was nice, because then I didn't have to quiz him about the book to make sure he had read it. Boring book for me, but once again it gets my son to read, so it's okay in my book.
This is a level 2 story so is good for a beginning reader or for a story to read to your child(ren) Although the story is taken from the movie it's not word for word by the movie which makes it interesting and easy to stay with the story. (To many movie to book books are word for word and a child just simply doesn't like them due to not hearing voices and no true story line to follow might as well watch the movie) But this little story brought the lovable characters you get to know in the movie to life in the book. Very well put together.
