I'm not okay. After spending yesterday evening sucked into this book, staying up until the wee hours of the morning to read (I was legit reading while I brushed my teeth), and then awaking this morning and devouring the last 25% in just over an hour, I'm really not okay.

This story wrenched my heart right out of my chest. It made me eat cake for breakfast—e-reader in hand, of course. My pulse has yet to return to normal, and my poor lungs not even know how to function. My heart hurt, I teared up

Hannah is such a wordsmith with her simplistic writing style; penning another masterpiece for her reader’s pleasure. SHE HOOKED ME! I had to have more, I needed more, I wanted more, so I read on. I was dying to know how everything turned out for each character. I was not disappointed.

I enthusiastically recommend ‘The Pursued’ for readers wanting to laugh out loud and ready to shed a tear here and there. You will be thrilled with the exciting ending.

As I mentioned in my other reviews -
I love all the new cover art on this trilogy!

The 3rd and final installment of the Hills Of Innocence Trilogy did not disappoint!

Once again, Willowy Whisper displays her art of weaving an engaging and daring tale that keeps readers on the edge of their seat.

She also never shys away from tackle real life issues in her books and always tries to do it in a believable manner, which is nice.

This book was a rollercoaster ride for sure,
but I thought it was a beautiful

The Pursued is the third and final book in the trilogy. Appropriate for any ages, although written to an audience of young adult. No profanity or sexuality. Some violence. 118,281 words.

ahhhhhhhh this was so good!

Things I Liked:
- Willowy's writing. Oh my goodness!!! The first book of the trilogy was fairly good. The second was a little better. The third? It's like the (1st + 2nd) times a couple thousand. Like, WOW. Her writing really improved in this one.
- The suspense and romance were handled so masterfully!
- I love how real and raw the characters are. <3
- There wasn't as much violence! That was the main reason why I deducted stars off the 1st and 2nd book, so I was glad to

While I know all my ratings and reviews are my personal opinions, I just want to be clear that the main problems I had with this book were very personal preferences on my part and not any kind of objective judgment. That is, I'm not saying no one else should/would like it; it just wasn't my kind of story.

To start with, somehow I badly misjudged the genre until a number of chapters into the book. (Somehow, I was thinking contemporary for the longest time, although I'm not sure exactly why.) Not t

The Pursued is, as the title suggests, a novel about people who are wanted for something, and thus pursued. How they escape being caught is the story thread. The two story lines run parallel, increasing the suspense, with only one common acquaintance tying them together.

This book is a YA romance/mystery. It could be historical or modern day considering what is not told the reader. It takes place on/near a ranch. Written to a young audience, by a young author, and romance not being my favorite ge

"The Pursued" is an AMAZING novel! Actually, that may be an understatement! This story is beautifully written and will without a doubt, tug at your heartstrings! With dangerous thrills, a hint of humor, and a whole lotta love, this book will have you shedding tears, laughing out loud, and rooting for the characters all the way to a magnificent ending! Honestly, this is the best historical novel I've read since "Love Comes Softly" by Janette Oke. Anyone who liked "Love Comes Softly" will simply a ...more
