Author Maura Pierlot’s The Trouble in Tune Town is a clever children’s book written in fluent rhymes. Capturing the difficulties that many children face when practicing to play a musical instrument, Pierlot devises a character named Meg, Tune Town’s best music performer who struggles to rehearse for a concert. We really enjoyed The Trouble in Dune Town by Maura Pierlot. It was nice to read that even great performers have bad days when the notes just don't sound right. For poor Meg, she tries different instruments and they still don't sound right.

It was fun reading what happened to the notes and trying to work out if they would ever find their way back home so the Big Concert can go ahead.
