this small collection of poetry makes me wish for more, and feels expansive as the universe's realm. it felt to me reading it like i took a jaunt around the world, and yet was in the comfort of bed at home playing footsie with my sweetheart - though i read the book alone, neither at home, nor in bed. it brought me home, and it brought me around the world at once. spahr-summers dances us among the disgusting nature of life and world, while right in step with the glory, beauty and divinity of life ...more
