Loads of useful tips and exercises to solve behaviour problems in horses. Some of Kelly's views are a bit outdated, but since this book was first published in 2002, I can imagine she has updated them since.

This helped me so much with my new horse. The exercises are well explained and easy to start as I had a Dually halter to train with.
Getting a horse to stand still can change everything. Grooming is easier, opening gates, getting shod, etc. Having a horse standing still while I move around it makes it more pleasurable. And that is just one example of manners that we have instilled from the book.
Marks' methods are so calm and peaceful.
This book will definitely be reread many times by myself.

Meget vigtig bog, der både giver god teori for al arbejde med hesten og gode øvelser. Jeg mangler dog hjælp til det springende punkt med at komme fra jorden til sadlen.

I skimmed this book, then gave it a good read. I like it, but I need more information about "Join Up" to really give it a thorough critique. I'm unclear how this differs from Parelli. Still, a lot of good info, exercises, and techniques.

Fantastic! I especially appreciated the "Don't be rude" section in the back- applying to people interaction as well as horses. So smart.
