Another outstanding Time-Life book, this one covering the entire Twentieth Century, sketching 125 events that made a significant impact on the world. Having just finished reading the book, I have not judged the selections presented or considered other events as possible alternatives.
As always with Time-Life publications, this book combines the best of prose and photography; there are pictures especially that make this book worth keeping. The final picture --- the landscape of Mars --- points toward the next century and beyond. Will humans duplicate the feat of July 20, 1969 on the Red Planet? Will humankind survive into the 22nd Century?

Loved the structure and information content of this book. Need one like this for tech advancements after the evolution of the internet (the closes I've seen though is in a blog post by Pierre Scaruffi). Also, need a website that lays out things exactly in the "book format".

This is an excellent series, detailing life and highlighting notable historical events in the 20th century.
