Ever find yourself doing a little happy dance when you finally get the couple's book you've been waiting for what seems like forever? Yeah that was me when I got my hands on this one.

Kurt Steele is the boss of a security company which employs many of his fellow Air Force PJs along with men from other branches of the military. Kurt lost his both his legs on a mission which of course ended his military career. Fourteen years ago before his PJ Candidate Course training he met Caitlyn Brevard. They

This author has given yet another intriguing read that pumps the heart. Filled with mystery, drama that is fueled with suspense thanks to the danger these two-Kurt and Caitlyn take you on one tense operation. The chemistry between them will fuel it also with this turning into a second chance that neither had opted too. When in need becomes more you are riveted to this story from beginning to end and through the high and lows coming out satisfied.

Charter pilot Caitlyn Brevard and Former special operator and wounded warrior Kurt Steel blew me away with the emotional depth they brought to the story with their humble, caring, and capable characters. I absolutely adored them, their honesty, dignity, straightforwardness, and courage.
This well-written tale flows ever so smoothly, alluring my mind until I was completely lost in the world of Caitlyn and Kurt. The passionate, ardent romance is balanced with intense and deadly action and suspense

An amazing read and we finally get Kurt’s story, the owner of Steele Security and the woman for many years ago, Caitlyn, who broke his heart. She needs his help by posing as her fiancée to throw off the advances of a slimy man, Glenn, and to rescue her sister who happens to be in the house of Glenn’s father who may be linked to a trafficking ring. They haven’t seen each other in 12 years and Kurt isn’t one to turn down anyone when they need help, but he’s wary of pretending to be her fiancée whe ...more

This is my third Men of Steele book and I don't think I've read any of them in order. So, I suggest that you do whatever it takes to get your hand on any of these wonderful books and start reading. This book is the story of Kurt who owns Steele Security and is a medically retired Air Force PJ who lost both his legs during a mission. Kurt gets the shock of his life when he is a work one morning and Caitlyn Brevard shows up in his office after no contact for 14 years. She casually tells him that s ...more

This is part of a series about the men who work at Steele Security. Kurt started the company after leaving the military due to severe injuries. When an old friend, Caitlyn, asks for his help he doesn’t hesitate. Things end up heating up both professionally and personally and Kurt and Caitlyn have to work together to keep everyone safe. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily left an honest review.

Very Good

I enjoyed Caitlin and Kurt. They had a deep history and attraction which spanned more than a decade. Their road was a difficult one which didn’t end in marriage and family, but did end in love.

I like the author’s handling of Kurt’s disability, especially as he became intimate with Caitlin. It was honest and respectful.

Very good story.

Running Blind

Running blind lacked some of the intensity of the first 3 books, but was still a worthy read. I like to come away with new knowledge and the aww factor at the end. I recommend you get all 4 novels at the same time, because I think
that would be a marvelous marathon of reading.

Growing up, Gwen Hernandez wasn’t brave enough to share the stories in her head with other kids, but they usually involved intrigue and romance. She was raised in the Army and Navy, and married an Air Force engineer, so it’s natural that her Men of Steele series features military heroes and heroines who must overcome danger to find true love.

The former programmer and manufacturing engineer also he
