Great book taking a western approach (i.e. nutrients and the physiological affects) to traditional eastern food philosophies, namely Ayurveda but others are mentioned. I'm using it as one of three reference books in my quest to build a healthy food strategy. The other two books are; 'Nutrient Timing' by John Ivy and Robert Portman, and 'The Abs Diet, Ultimate Nutrition Handbook' by David Zinczenko.

The title of this book is a little misleading. Although cravings are addressed, the core premise is finding your balance by identifying your Ayurvedic dosha and balancing it thorugh food and lifestyle choices. I liked it overall.
