In March our church, New Covenant Ministries IPHC Inc, started a book study on the Prayer of Jabez. I reread the book several times as well as the Daily Devotional. We met for 6 weeks with great success with spiritual growth in peoples lives as well as devine Jabez appointments being experienced by those involved. It was a wonderful experience for me as I chosen to head up this group which was a first for me. I showed "The Prayer of Jabez for Kids" to the group as an example of how to involve children from respective homes. This past week I decided to read this book as well to compare the differences. Some of the stories have been changed to better speak to children on their level. I still found the same lessons intact, speaking strongly to the heart. I recommend this book to pre-teens. I think it will mold them for success in life as they grow up. This book is however written to the heart of a Christian and may not be fully comprehended by a non-believer in Jesus Christ.
