Expanding the number of funds profiled in its previous edition to more than three thousand, a comprehensive and detailed volume presents the objectives and strategies of each, their performance histories, investment requirements, and risks. IP.
This book is essentially an updated and expanded version of Jorgensen's Money Lessons for a Lifetime. An excellent book about money management, insurance, and investing. Jorgensen explains risk (and there is risk in every investment out there) and how best to handle risk by spreading your money around. Short term risks are best dealt with by having money invested in cash and short/intermediate term bonds. Long term risks are best dealth with by investing in stocks. Jorgensen is partial to blue chip, dividend paying stocks and mutual funds. Highly recommended.
