A handy, spiral-bound pocket guide presents the most common surgical instruments organized alphabetically according to the various cutters, forceps, clamps, retractors, needle holders, suction tips, and dilators. Each "spread" includes a brief description of the instrument along with a black and white photograph. Each description includes the use, availability, and the name variation.
This book have a good idea, good illustrations, but a bad content It doesn't contain a lot of instruments like graspers, biopsy instruments, blades, needles, electrosurgical pencil which is a very important tool in basically all operations It also lacks explanation about the use of every single instrument, you feel like it's machine manual, I think it's more useful for instrument technicians than for medical students and surgeons. I hope that the author make it a lot more better
