This is a good book on worship leadership... it's a good combination of practical and theological, head stuff and heart stuff. Whether you're a worship pastor at a church or one of a few volunteer worship leaders, there is a lot to learn in this book.

A lot based on experience, which isn’t bad. It just isn’t all practical. There is the practical section- which is why I bought it. It was ok. Read more like a book on mentoring. My theology is already formed in regards to this. If yours isn’t, this might be a good fit.

Deeply moving for anyone involved in leading worship. It covers a wide enough spectrum to be applicable to just about any tradition of singing worship.

Andy gives many practical insights into writing songs, leading worship, playing with a band, etc.

He also gets into some of the more spiritual and internal issues such as your motives, pride, character, being a pastor to others in your team, etc

I think this should be requisite to anyone leading worship

A comprehensive overview of different challenges facing worship leaders. Some helpful practical insights, but you really have to mine the book for these gold nuggets. Nonetheless, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded perspective on worship ministry.
