Definitely worth it for the pictures. Since this is free to download and public domain, even if one were not to read the image captions, it would still be great! Just note that all the descriptions come in order, THEN the images. The descriptions ARE NOT paired with their respective images ("plates"). This is no issue with a physical copy since one could just flip back and forth and use some bookmarks. With digital copies, however, it can get annoying quickly. I guess it was easier back then to print all the frames at the book's back. Although not the best book, it is definitely worth reading to see how these ruins once were before restoration.
