I was anticipating the book is on Ibn al-Nadim's al-Fihrist when the author uses Nadim as one of the main character and relates the character with knowledge and library. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen. The references in this book is really vague (either unintention or intentionally) in comparison to Faisal Tehrani's 1515.
Nevertheless, some new vocabularies that can be extracted are dokoh, gapura masa, juak-juak, desir suara, getar gulana, bunyi kecipak air, membelingas, bercerancangan, berjujuk-jujuk, bumbu, rombong, buhul-buhul kisah, meradak, jidar, jelira, satah, ambal, berkutik, diragas, merajalela, membeliti jemalanya, dipercanggai, jenis kelulus, dijengulkan, wajahnya renta, honar, matanya mencerlang, renik peluh, mata berkelintar dan menaakul kias.
I still find that Nisah Haron and Faisal Tehrani's usage of new words as innatural in comparison to Shahnon Ahmad's usage of words which is really natural – where the readers subconsciously absorp the meanings of the peculiar words when the author did a repetitional usage in his works.
