The Jack le Claire Series #1-3

Rate this book
Meet DCI Jack Le Claire

Jack Le Claire has left the London Metropolitan Police and returned home to the island of Jersey. He’s taken up a coveted position with the local police force and must fight to prove his worth, whilst battling a past that will not let him go. Murder and mystery are mixed with a shot of romance in these fast-paced thrillers that detail the dark undercurrent of life in an apparently privileged island.

This digital box set contains the first three books in the series.

˃˃˃ Blood In The Sand: Betrayal, lies, romance and murder

Tragedy strikes the Channel Island of Jersey when a wealthy widow is found dead in what is labelled an unfortunate accident.

Le Claire’s instincts prove correct and he is soon on the trail of a vicious killer. The body count is rising and Le Claire must battle a web of lies and half-truths as he tries to catch a brutal murderer before they claim yet another victim.

Grace Howard is shattered by a vile betrayal and, having nowhere to run, makes a shock decision. Will she live to regret it?

˃˃˃ Blood Ties: Obsession, secrets, desire and murder

DCI Jack Le Claire's personal and professional lives overlap when a rich man’s party is interrupted by death. Le Claire's investigations uncover a web of deceit and drag him into the seedier, and decidedly steamier, side of island life.

Ana Zielinska has come to Jersey in search of her roots, but uncovers something more dangerous. She has caught someone's attention but are they set on harming her?

˃˃˃ Blood On The Rock: Treachery, desire, jealousy and murder

A man sits alone on his yacht, contemplating his good fortune as the sun slowly sets. But the past has a way of catching up with you.

DCI Jack Le Claire is called in to investigate a suspicious death. As he peels back the layers of the victim's life, he uncovers a web of family tensions, jealousy and deceit. Can he piece together the connections between a series of crimes while facing his deepest fears as his past continues to haunt him?

Sophie Ginelli has returned home, having fled Jersey a decade earlier. She is trying to make amends and claim what is hers by right. But a lot can happen in ten years.

I was born in Scotland but have lived most of my life in the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey. I live in a house by the sea with my husband and three cats. (I know!)

I have been writing for the last decade and Blood In The Sand is my first published novel. My second book, Blood Ties, was published at the end of November 2016.

I love walking on the beach and reading, reading, and reading.

Good plots

I've now finished the first three Jack le Claire books. I have to say that the plots were good and the characters believable. I am going to look for the next part of the series now. I want to follow this series to the end. Well done Kelly Clayton as it's not easy to please me.
