These stories aren't suspenseful. But there's a payoff when the reluctant hombre gets pushed to his limit and then uses his wild west skills to set things back in order. Sometimes there's some interesting stuff about wild west business: ranching, prospecting, finance, timber, banking, water rights, etc.
