Life is more complicated than we make it and why do you think that is? People are living lives they do not want following this idea that they can be both happy and successful this way. When in truth, it’s all just a huge lie. No one truly knows the truth behind happiness and success simply because they weren’t taught that. It takes one who is really willing to step out of themselves to find out what both happiness and success really is, as well as how can one attain such seemingly hard to find things. If you want to know the not-so-secret secret, then try setting aside some time to read this book. There’s lots of knowledge we all can learn from the bright individual who wrote it, what do you have to lose?
In “Forever in Bloom,” author Mark Devro encourages his readers to let it sink in that they already have happiness and success, it’s just buried deep within them. He goes on to provide helpful quotes from famous and well-known individuals in helping him share his own experience of hitting “rock bottom”, but coming out on top as a better version of himself. By sharing is new found knowledge, many people would be able to awaken to the simple thought of knowing that they too, can live a better life. It all starts with them, changing their perspectives, embracing their flaws, being grateful for each day of their life, and just having the ability to love themselves. There are many great tips and strategies provided by Mark because he wants to help everyone as well as make Mother Nature proud of us for stepping up to take better care of her.
Learning to love ourselves isn’t the easiest thing, but it has to be genuine and not based on something self-centered or out of selfishness. He wants to spread love, we need to love ourselves more so that we can turn around and provide some of our self-abundance love to others. I’ve learned so much from this book, I empathize with the author’s story and is extremely happy that he chose to continue living by changing his life around. If he can do it, I’m almost certain everyone else can. I highly recommend everyone to read this book because loving yourself is the answer to living a happy and successful life.
The positive kick in the butt I needed during an especially hard time in my life
Unlike many "self-help" style books, Forever in Bloom gets right to the point and gives the reader an immediate plan of action after explaining his personal experience and connection that brought him to point where he knew he needed to do something different. I know many people pick up these types of books because they are in that same bind and knowing that he started off in such a low place and got to where he is now was immensely encouraging (he was contemplating suicide). I've begun implementing some of his steps into my own daily routine (particularly the "T.I.M.E.S." steps), and can honestly say I'm feeling a bit better each day. The only downside to this book was that he was so upbeat the entire time. I realize it is the nature of the beast, but it seemed slightly superficial every now and again. If you've ever watched "Parks & Recreation," it seems like a book that Rob Lowe's character, Chris Traeger, would have written. But it was overall a rewarding read- it's a long road sometimes, but this book may be what you need.
