Heartwarming, sweetly thrilling and emotionally engaging romantic journey for two people with heartbreaking pasts to overcome.

Violet Fielding lost her husband and move to this small town to live with her mother-in-law. Ash Younger is a care free spirit and good time guy hiding a sad past and not looking for forever. Despite their best efforts the unexpected happens. Highly entertaining, emotional and uplifting story, would recommend to any romance lover.

Then Came You was a very sweet read. The slow burn chemistry between Violet & Ash was beautifully paced.

Ash is a good guy who is a love ‘em & leave ‘em type of guy. Violet is a widow who is having a hard time moving on from the death of her husband. Ash is confused by his lingering feelings for Violet after they have an explosive night together. Especially since she had sneaked out of his bed the next morning. Could this mean that Violet is the one that will be able to break
This was a sweet read.
Going in, I was unaware that The Youngers Series takes place in the same small town as the earlier series, The Thorntons, and that these two series are interconnected in the Love Everlasting universe. I have not read any of The Thorntons stories, and I was a smidge confused by the number of character names thrown out in the beginning of this book. Fortunately, after chapter three none of that made a difference.
I found this story sort of "fluffy" and I'll admit that this

After witnessing his parents’ doomed love affair, serial playboy Ash Younger decided long ago that love was not meant for him. With his charm and good looks, he’s never lacked for beautiful women. He may push numbers as an accountant by day, but by night, he’s only interested in having a woman in his bed.

Yet the night he encounters a mysterious—and gorgeous—widow who doesn’t immediately fall under his seductive spell, Ash realizes he wants her more than

This is the first book in a new series, The Youngers and is my first read of this author.

After losing her husband over two years ago, Violet went to live with her mother in law and nothing has changed since. She is still mourning her husband and has not moved on with her life despite the pushing of her mother in law. Finally succumbing to the pushing, Violet goes to a singles night at a local bar, however the man who peaks her interested is not part of the singles night. He is also younger than

Violet Fielding moved to Fair Haven two years after the death of her husband William to take care of her mother in law. Still grieving for her husband her mother in law convinces her to go out to a singles night. At the Fainting Goat bar she spots Ash Younger attending his nieces birthday party and they are instantly attracted to each other. I love how Violet and Ash work through their relationship with dealing with grief and trust issues. Iris Morland has the ability to write a wonderful story ...more

I loved this family even when they didn’t get much time in Trent and Lizzie’s book and now I’m excited to read all about them and still have favorites from the other series show up!

A well written but sad romance, this novel speaks of two wounded people who have the ability to bring healing to each other, provided they can climb over the stumbling blocks in their paths. Violet is still grieving her husband, but when secrets emerge she is devastated to realise that he wasn’t the man she thought he was. Ash on the other hand, saw his parent’s destructive marriage and has sworn off long term relationships on a permanent basis. That is, of course, until he meets up with Violet ...more

Life and love are hardly ever what we imagine they will be. When two lonely people meet they put one another on a path that will lead to love if they're open to it. But if they're not, they'll be stuck forever in isolation without the freedom and peace that comes from truly fulfilling love. Both Ash and Violet will have to decide if their pride is more important than happiness and their hearts.

From the very start of the story I was drawn to Ash and his carefree cockiness that hid something sweet
Readers will find themselves drooling over the near-perfect hero in this small town romance of a widowed woman struggling to start over and the guilt holding her back from the HEA he tempts her with. From the first page to the last readers will be taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions that will take you from blushing to feeling warm fuzzies to feeling frustrated by the heroine’s actions. By the turn of the final page though you’ll be left satisfied yet ready for more!

That first kiss....Hot and romantic.

Then came you is a hot and sweet romance with witty comedic lines to relieve the sexual tension between Violet and Ash. Iris Moreland is a new-to-me author, and I really enjoyed her book, especially the first kiss scene, *fans oneself.* Hell, it not only rocked Ash’s world, but mine as well!
Violet is a 33 year old Jewellery Designer with her own business, and she has recently moved town to be with her Martha, her mother-in-law, to help with Martha’s health.

Too blind to see

Firstly, my ebook was faulty. I have never previously experienced an ebook that says "downloading now" at the beginning (and sometimes the end) of every chapter. It never finished downloading. It was a free book so I read it anyway, because the story was very interesting and I was able to figure out what was happening most of the way, except for the end of the story. That was very bad!
It merged into a peep into Thea's story, which looks like great fun.
Getting back to my book, I

by Iris Moreland

I loved this book..Iris Moreland is the best! Violet Fielding has spent the last two years mourning her husband William's death and feeling guilty about the possibility of moving on, she's only 33. She lives with her mother-in-law Martha and spends her time making jewelry for her business. When Iris is out at a bar, which is completely unusual for her, she meets 27 year old Ash Younger. He's usually a hit it and quit it kind of guy, but Iris peeks his attention like

Violet is a 33 year old widow that makes jewelry for a living and is in dire financial circumstances. Violet also never gets out her only entertainment is hanging with her roommate whom is a older lady her mother in law.

Ash the hero of this story is 28 years old, which makes him younger than the heroine, never wants to settle down. Once he's done with a lady that is it. He is funny has good looks and most females like him, but Violet is on

Violet Fielding moved to Fair Haven, Washington to help her mother in law of her deceased husband. It has been two years since he was killed in a car crash and she has not gone out with anyone. Her mother in law encourages her to go to a singles event at the Fainting Goat. She meets Ash Younger who is a known player in town, but she doesn’t fall for his lines. This makes Ash more interested in her.

I loved that this first book continues in the same town from the Thornton’s series. It is always

I received the ARC of this book in exchange for my review from Hidden Gems. This is the second book by this author that I received in the ARC program. Since the other book I received was Dream a Little Dream which introduced the Younger family, this book just felt like a continuation of the previous characters. As with any of these family series, you do not necessarily need to read the prior books, it just gives you a better picture the background for the next story.

This is another wonderful author that was recommended on Facebook. I enjoyed Then Came You so much I purchased some of the other romances. This is a stand alone with a happy ending at the end of the story but it does have other characters that fade in and out of the story line.

I loved the books about the Thortons and was not disappointed when with this book about the Youngers. Trent's brother is a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. After watching his parents he does not believe that love is for him or that he wants that kind of relationship were the other person can hurt you to the bone.

This is the first book in Iris Morland's new Younger series. I really enjoyed meeting the large Younger family and I look forward to more books in the series. This book focused on Violet Fielding and Ash Younger. I really liked these two main characters. From the very beginning I was wrapped up in this book. I fell in love with the writing, the characters, the scenery, the storyline, just all of it. Before I knew it, it was a few hours and several chapters later and my family was complaining about wanting dinner! I was so enthralled in the story, time completely got away from me.

Then Came You, is a wonderful start to this new series, The Youngers. If you have read the awesome series, The Thorntons,
you have already meet the oldest brother, Trent. It's a touching story about
Ash & Violet. Ash loves women, just not commitment. He unfortunately has had
a bad example of love, & marriage.
Violet is new to Fair Haven. Her husband died two years ago. Violet has moved in with Mother-in-law, to care for her.
Martha tells her it's time to go out & have fun, meet a man.

This is one such story where age doesn't comes as a barrier for love. In the Love Everlasting Series, Iris Morland has opened a new volume with The Youngers and Then Came You is the first installment. Its the story about a Violet and Ash, where Violet is 5 years is Older than Ash. Violet is a young widow who takes care of her mother in law and grieving for her husband who passed away 2 years ago while handling her jewelry business. It’s been two years since Violet’s husband and the love of her life passed away. Under pressure from her mother in law she agrees to go to a single and mingle night but she never expected it to change her life.

After watching his parent’s relationship Ash has no interest in going down that road but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t enjoy women. When he sees Violet watching him at the bar he approaches her and is intrigued when she declines his attention.

Then Came You by Iris Morland is part of the Everlasting Series. Its book 1 in The Youngers - The Thorntons Series is already released.
Ash and Violet we already met in Dream a little Dream of Me, the Love Everlasting Series.
Ash Younger and his siblings are a thight knit group. Most of them found their HEA. Ash is not the relationship and white picket fence type, he doesnt do love either. That will change in the blink of an eye when he meets Violet. He falls for her hook, line and sinker.

I lived this book. I felt so bad for each of the characters and their lives leading up to the point of meeting one another.
