This one really didn't work for me and I struggled to finish it. Probably wouldn't have if I didn't need it for a challenge. The dialogue is stilted, the characters didn't seem to have much chemistry and their were some pretty major editing issues (like wrong names). ...more

I think it was the third time the author called one of the MCs by the other's name that I decided I was done with this book. Unfortunately, I picked this for Christmas Bingo, so my teammates were counting on me, and I had to finish instead of DNFing. The story isn't horrible, it's just...not very good, either. Every character is a cartoon, not a real person. If you need something light and quick, go ahead and read this, but be ready to jump over the plot holes.

I loved Mistletoe Marriage by Riley Knight. It is a cute holiday story about a second chance romance between two bisexual best friends that finally find themselves free to give into the hidden attraction that they have had for each other. I loved that David invites Jonathan to come and stay with him in New York after Jonathan's divorce so that he and his son can get back on their feet. It doesn't hurt that both men have seven-year-old sons to keep each other company and go to school with. Being ...more

Ok, it was only 0.99$, but even that was too much. Made it up to 10% but the whole thing moved in circles and nothing really happened. What really got on my nerves was the repetitions in the writing. Just for fun I did a kindle search and would you believe it - there were 30 'best friend' in this book! The five I read were already too many. ...more

David and Jonathan met when they were teacher’s day student. Although friends anything more was forbidden. Then years later David lost his wife and Jonathan gets a divorce. David invites and his son to live with him. Will this be finally their time to the passion between them?

This book is wonderful. The characters are amazing, full of life and personable. You can not help but wish for a forever ending for them. The emotionally charged romantic drama is a storyline full of bumps and setbacks as t

Oh that mistletoe

That plant is cause for some of life’s best and most embarrassing moments. It weaves a dangerous web, and when the hearts involved there’s no telling what will happen next.

Nope, another miss for me. I tried but had to skim half of this book and it wasn't even that long! I love easy, low angst stories but this was boring and the main characters were so detached. ...more

Just...No. To inconsistent and, plot wise, to say it's fast paced seams like such an understatement. Just...No. ...more
