Currently working on several romance book ideas at once... if only I could get them to sort themselves out. I don't know what is on the horizon for me, but you can bet I'll be embracing it with open arms!

Risque Romance Vol 2 by Mandi Konesni
Ms. Konesni is a new to me author. I needed something short, and enjoyable. “Risque Romance” hit the spot. Both of these stories are independent of each other. They are well written and drew me in quickly to care about how things were going to work out in both stories.
In “UNLEASHED” Naomi finds something interesting in a blood sample she brought back from the Amazon Rainforest. Not willing to hand it over to the company she is working for until she can explain what is going on. She finds an independent lab where she can study her samples. Unleashed, has some unique emotional twists in the plot that seem to take you away on a different path. Then it twists back onto itself and leaves you with a satisfying ending.
“CONSUMED,” takes a leap into Mythic figures. Goddess Electra and Raina, a diva spirit—Pixie, have been together forever. They create Esoteric Inc., an agency that handles cases "normal" Private Investigators wouldn’t touch. Then Ryder Dreki, alpha of the Icelandic dragons, steps into her office. His request? Assist him with locating a kidnapped dragonling, his eight-year-old niece, as well as the Stone of Wisdom, stolen from his hoard. Ryder is a hot-headed, arrogant dragon who keeps finding himself one or two steps behind the kidnappers. Even though this is a serious situation Ms. Konesni inserts witty dialogue and humor between these strong-willed characters. There is a lot of globetrotting and a race to beat the clock to save the world and sacrifices are made. And a heartfelt ending.
I enjoyed both of these stories, they are intelligently written. I would recommend them to any reader who enjoys paranormal romances, and doesn’t mind a little graphic sex.

This is book two in the Risque Romance series each of her books can be read as standalone and each of her books is two parts so get comfortable because once you start it trust me you won’t stop until the last page is turned. Naomi is a scientist brings back a blood sample from the Rainforest and let’s just say she isn’t giving it up until she knows just what she is giving up or better still explain what really is going on so taking it to an independent lab to study said sample. Naomi hasn’t learned how to accept things for what they are she is straight facts everything can and must be explained is her attitude but when faced with something that can’t be explained, documented, understood, isn’t supposed to be real will she accept what her eyes can see, heart can feel, or will she continue on the unseeing path? Second part is a journey of discovery of something more than just your own desires Electra and Raina are board, tired of the same day in and day out so to create some type of something different they create Esoteric Inc. an agency that help with cases that no investigator will touch so when this sexy as all get out dragon comes in demanding help with finding his young niece who is an eight year old dragon and the stone of wisdom stolen from his family also, insisting on her coming along but what happens when fate throws a few things there way will they stick together, wills she save their world, will he get his niece back, will they find the kidnappers, and can they find something more on this journey?

CONSUMED is the next story which features supernatural investigators Electra and and Raina, who accompany dragon leader Ryder to Iceland on a quest to recover his kidnapped niece, trying to be mindful of dragon politics, all the while.

Two in one fabulous Novellas
Unleashed:
I thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in this well written book. The complicated scientific processes is explained in an easy to understand way, which kept me hooked and glued to the pages, and of course the hot chemistry between Able and his Alma helped too!!
Consumed:
Again, Mandi Konesni's style of writing helps us to understand the background and history of the gods and dragons in the story. I found this a fascinating read and loved watching the mystery unfold. I also loved the friendship dynamics between Electra and Raina and of course the hot chemistry between Electra and Ryder.

This book has Two short stories, Part 1: Naomi is a scientist and while working in the Amazon Rainforest, stumbles on a blood sample that could change the world. After further investigating she finds that all is not what she expects after meeting the very Handsome Abel.
Part two: Electra a Titan Goddess and her Friend Raina, A Deva Fairy start there own Private investigation company, enter the Gorgeous Ryder a Foringi ( Alpha) Leader of the Icelandic Dragons, who has reached out for there help to find his Dragonling Niece who has been kidnapped. Lots of twists in this story and I loved the Relationship between Electra and Ryder.

Unleashed
I truly enjoyed this story. The patience Abel had in the end melted my heart. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes paranormal reads.
Consumed
Fallen god meets dragon. Another interesting story with a beat of heat at times. Toss in Raina and sweet little Pala and you have a very sweet story.
I'm glad that I took a chance on reading this.

I thought that I loved Volume 1? Volume 2 knocked it out of the park! 2 great novellas in one! Unleashed is an awesome paranormal with science thrown in. What’s not to love? In Consumed, we have a dragon... a dragon! Ryder is awesome and a great match for goddess Electra!

A blood sample taken in the amazon rainforest has Naomi stumped. She returns to find the answers and finds a jaguar shifter who holds all her answers. A well written book that I will be reading more of. So good.

After reading Vol 1 I was looking forward to another two stories in Vol 2 and not disappointed.
As in Vol 1 one story I enjoyed more and second one on this occasion. Although first story was good for me felt like a lot of build up until the steamy part finally happened and despite short story felt not as enthralled with this as others stories did.
Did not detract too much, but just not as much a page turner or connect with as the second story had a better feel and more enjoyable for me.
Looking forward to reading Vol 3 for more exciting stories.
