I really enjoyed this book! I am interested in learning more about STEM, and this book gave me all the information I was looking for. It also went in depth on the process of how they made curriculum for elementary students focusing on engineering. What was even more useful were the videos and supplemental materials included with the book. As I read about students' work, I could then see the video of the actual lessons and what the students were doing, and also some handouts. This helped me visualize how to teach using their STEM philosophy, and the inquiry process (ask, imagine, plan, create, improve). Highly recommend! I liked the emphasis that students do not just follow the steps to making the same product as a class, but used their creativity to solve real problems.
