I am an instant fan. This is my first time with this author and I’m in! A young woman loses her dad and must find a husband to collect her inheritance but along the way falls in love and also meets a few suitors who are interested in helping her situation.

Although it’s a little out there, it’s completely the intention and I loved every dirty, interesting, sad, emotional, intense and sweet minute of it.

The narration was fantastic. My only 2 complaints are that I feel she could have pushed the emotion just a little further and that she needed to distinguish between characters a little more. But even that, I can’t complain too much and i loved her voice.

This was a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for book 2.

I absolutely loved this book. There were some twists as well as ups and downs. The fluidity and descriptions in this book helped draw me it. The characters were well written and I felt like I really got to know them. Lucy Felthouse is an awesome writer and I look forward to reading more.

I thought this was a pretty good book. Sometimes I don't care for books that don't have any paranormal or fantasy aspects. I found Mia charming. Mia is secure in her sensuality and makes it clear what she wants. She's a strong independent woman who doesn't need a man to be happy. She never hesitates to speak her mind and I like that she curses. Mia's father has just passed away and she's inheriting everything. The only thing is, her father put a caveat in his will, without telling her before he died, that says that she must find someone to marry within a year or her cousin inherits everything.

I enjoyed meeting all the guys. They're all very unique and interesting. This wasn't too long of a book and I'm excited to learn more about them.

All in all, I definitely want to know what happens next. I'm surprised that I took a chance on this book because I usually only read new authors if there's a review from my friend or there's a lot of reviews/ratings. I thought it was pretty good for a start. I listened to it on audible but read parts as well. I'm glad this is on audio. I liked the British accents.

Mia has spent the last few years working along side her father and running the family business through his illness.

After his death Mia is not ready to find that he has changed his will and she will not inherit a thing till she is married - and she only has a year to do so, with some exacting stipulations.

Will Mia be able to keep her burgouning relationship with the gardener going? How does a girl mange to juggle another two potential suitors? Only time will tell.

This is an interesting introduction to a new contemporary reverse harem series by Lucy Felthouse. When Mia Herrington's father loses his battle with cancer, Mia is given the shock of her life when she discovers that her father had changed his will right before his death. Now in order to keep the home she loves, she must find and marry a man appropriate to her station in society within a year's time. Though she is beginning a relationship with the gardener Thomas Walker, Mia (with Thomas's blessing) must find a suitable husband. This leads her to meeting not one, but three other men. This contemporary RH novel gives readers realistic characters that draw you into the world that Lucy Felthouse has created. I definitely enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next one.

Mia is a hardworking, independent woman. She's never felt like she needed a man in her life to define or help her. With her father's failing health, she's been running all of his affairs on her own rather well. So imagine her surprise when she finds out dear old dad changed the will. Now she has no choice but to get married or she will lose everything.

I enjoyed the start of this new series. Mia is very strong and level headed. She has a couple of moments where you are like "really? Did you really just say that?" BUT Mia catches herself and makes it right. So yea, she's not perfect but none of us are. It makes her more real in my opinion. The guys are all really fun and loveable. Tom, the gardener, knows what Mia is going through with the loss of her father and he becomes her shoulder to lean on. Elias and Alex are sophisticated and fun. They bring a whole other side to Mia's life.

While we did have some intense sexy time, there was a lot more to this book. We spend time with everyone and take some adventures. Here's why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. I wanted more. I felt like we got to know Thomas on a deeper level but not the other guys. Maybe that's coming in the future books so not a big deal. I did want more of how it all came together though. I don't want to get spoilerish but I needed a little more info on how the conversation went about them ALL being together. The blurb tells you that someone is into sharing with his best friend but what about other men. How did they work that out and all agree?

All in all I really did enjoy this book and the characters and I'm really looking forward to reading book two.

This was an amazing start to a new series! Mia’s dad has recently lost his battle to cancer. She should inherit everything since she has no siblings and her mother passed away years ago, but her father made some last minute changes to his will. Now, Mia must find herself a socially suitable husband within a year in order to keep her childhood home and everything else that her father left behind or her cousin will get it all. She started a relationship with Thomas, the gardener, but since he isn’t a suitable husband for the will he asks her to find someone else to marry. At a benefit event, she meets two best friends, Elias and Alex, who are both interested in her. Even though Mia is a little hesitant at first, I love that she takes the chance on both of them and still keeps Thomas as well. I loved Mia’s strong, level headed, and outspoken personality and her growth throughout this hard time in her life and openness for change.
Poppy did a wonderful job with this narration! I loved her British accent and I felt like she matched each character’s voice with their social class. It was easy to distinguish each character and she brought their emotions to life.

Yet again, another stunning read from Lucy! I'm used to Lucy's books being loaded with hot sex, and while this has some absolutely sizzling scenes, there was more focus on the story and the characters, drawing me in even deeper.

I was worried I'd find it difficult to keep up and keep the characters separate. In previous reverse harem novels I've read it can get a bit muddled, but Lucy has written them all so perfectly and clearly, defining them all with their own personalities, that it's very easy to read and understand who is in the scene, and who is speaking.

Mia's Men is a wonderful take on the reverse harem genre, and the first in a series of books. The story hasn't ended. However, while it doesn't really end on a cliffhanger, it still manages to leave the reader wanting more.

My review of the audiobook:

I really liked Mia and the three men she became close to in this first book in a new series. I wasn't crazy about the way her loving father forced her to find a husband, even though I understood that he believed he was doing what was best for her. It made me laugh to imagine how a father like that would feel when his daughter ended up with multiple men!
The men who captured Mia's interest in this story all seemed like good people, especially the one she actually fell in love with. I'm sure her feelings will grow deeper with the others as the story continues. I did find Mia to be a little harsh with one of the men, and I wanted him to stand up to her occasionally. I also felt like some of the scenes went on for too long, with more descriptions and inner monologue than was completely necessary. However, I was very much engrossed in the story. Both the author and the narrator did a terrific job, and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I really enjoyed the premise: Mia's father has died and before she can fully inherit, she needs to marry someone "suitable" within the year, otherwise her awful cousin will get it all and destroy everything she's helped to build.

Thing is, now that she's looking, she can't seem to escape eligible bachelors... that are willing to share!

This is a cute and steamy reverse harem romance, definitely worth checking out!

Mia’s Men: A Reverse Harem Romance Nove was a really good book by Lucy Felthouse. Mia’s father just passed away after a battle with cancer. She is set to inherit his entire estate since her mother has passed and she was their only child. Little does she know, her father changed his will. She must marry a suitable man or else the entire estate will go to her vile cousin. She goes from having no possible suitors to three with a possibility of a fourth. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to find out what happens with Mia and her men.

Mia's Men is a sexy reverse harem story where one grieving heiress has to come to grips with the terms of her father's will and the men who come into her life bringing her love, joy and pleasure in a difficult time. Your heart will go out to Mia as she struggles with her grief but you will also rejoice with her as she finds comfort and love, as well as ecstasy with the men in her life.

I wasn't certain what to expect with this story though I had read other books by Ms Felthouse before and enjoyed her writing. It wasn't her writing I was concerned about but the content. I'm new to the reverse harem genre and still finding my way around it. Trying to determine what I like and don't like. Fortunately, with Ms Felthouse's skillful storytelling and captivating characters, I needn't have worried. I was immediately sank into the story and immersed myself into Mia's world.

I loved the way Ms Felthouse started slow by introducing us to Thomas first. Thomas is a rock. He's steady, dependable and hard working. Exactly what Mia needs in her time of grief. Someone for Mia to lean on and find comfort with. Of course, Ms Felthouse doesn't leave it at that and she cranks up the heat quickly as Thomas and Mia get sexy with each other. That aside, Thomas is someone Mia can depend on and confide in. His strength and presence is a balm to her grief.

Since I've mentioned Mia, let's talk about her. Mia is grieving over the loss of her father to cancer. As well as shocked and frustrated over the terms of his will and the demands it makes of Mia. Despite that, Mia is a strong woman and she's ready to fight for the home she loves and the tenants she cares about. While Mia has moments of weakness and confusion throughout, she rallies quickly. And in doing so, she also finds Alex and Elias.

Alex and Elias are best friends. And they share everything. Even the woman in their lives. While Alex is smooth and charming, Elias is blunt and honest. Both successful men in their chosen fields. Both suitable for fulfilling the terms of Mia's father's will. And they both have something else in common. They both want Mia and they are willing to share her. What follows is some pretty intense sexy times between the three.

Did I mention this story heats up fast? And the heat doesn't let up either. It sizzles right through the book. And of course, there's the potential of a fourth into Mia's harem. We still need to find out more about Arjun.

The story ends on a sweet and hopeful note, and I can't wait to find out what happens next to Mia and her men in the next book. If you're in the mood for something a little different and very sexy, I recommend checking out Mia's Men.

Lucy is a strong independent woman. When her father passes from cancer and with her mother having passed prior she sets to inherit her fathers estate and wealth. What she doesn't realize is her father changed the will before he died and didn't speak to Mia about it. In order to inherit Mia must marry by the end of 12 months to someone of her station in life. Suddenly Mia goes from being alone to having 3 possibly or 4 men in her life. How will she handle all of them? Will they all get along? These are a few of Mia's thoughts. I really enjoyed this book. I like that Mia stayed confident in herself and her ability to run the estate. She takes on a new outlook as she tries to find someone to marry without giving up any of herself to do so. I can't wait to read the next book.

A well-paced and hot start to a series

This was the first “reverse harem” story I’ve read, and I enjoyed it. Elements of romance and erotica mixed in with developing relationships. Given that it’s a harem story, clearly multiple relationships!

It’s a safe bet from the start that Mia will end up in a complex relationship, and the fun for me was seeing what Ms Felthouse had in mind for her characters and readers. The blurb gives you plenty of hints, and as I don’t like giving “spoilers” in a review, all I’ll say is that this story ends nicely, and leaves plenty of scope for the series to develop.

Well written, h is nice, a little too self righteous perhaps and I struggled to like her. The Hs are diverse with a gardener, a surgeon and a banker. They are attracted to her and she wants it, very direct with how she orchestrates it. It was a little too cool. The gardener was more steamy, and I liked him a lot. Just OK.

This was a DNF for me at 63%.
I could not stand Mia! She was rude, mean, snarky and just a horrible person.
She was constantly bossing people around, taking offense to everything said and just all around horrible.
Also she’s gross. She sticks her finger in herself then sucks her own juices. 🤢 Gag me!

The guys were two dimensional and were just stomped all over by Mia.

Great read

If you like RH books then this book is for you. I really liked the story line. It wasn't rushed and you could see the way the MC grew throughout the book. There are also some drool worthy hunks (can't have a good book without those). All in all it was a fantastic read.

This was a great contemporary reverse harem romance. The main character is sexually comfortable in her skin instead of the normal virgin trope. I liked that there was no shaming of any kind. This was a refreshing addition to the genre and had some steam! Five glittery stars!

Mia Harrington has just lost her father after he lost his battle with cancer. Having lost her mother years ago and being an only child, she was very close to her father, working with him to take over the family estate. Mia has known for a while that she was her father's sole beneficiary but she didn't realize that he had included a new clause to his will. She will still inherit, but only if she marries a suitable man within twelve months. If she doesn’t, her nasty cousin will get everything. Mia knows that he will go through the fortune and ruin the estate so she is determined to fulfill the requirements of the will despite the fact that there has never been anyone serious an lately even one night stands have been sparse. Luckily she soon meets a man, Elias fitting the requirements and not only is he willing to marry her when needed but he wants to share her with his best friend, Alex. Mia also finds her friendship with the estate gardener, Tom turning into a deeper relationship. There's also the possibility of a fourth admirer. Looks like Mia will keep her estate and enjoy her personal life as well!

I had a rough time with this story. I liked the set-up, I liked the characters, I really like the sexy times. However, it felt disjointed to me. It didn't truly seem like an RH. I like everyone being in one place with the lead female being the center of their world. With Elias and Alex living in another city and being so busy, it seemed as if they were a fantastic weekend fling and that she was more involved with Tom. I'm hopeful that they all become more connected and we get much more quality time together in the next book.

The feeling I hated the most is whenever I set my eye on something and on the spot I wanted to have it. This one is exactly that, only I'm not able to get it on the spot. Which has made me fixate on it. But now that I got it and have finished it, I felt like...why am I even so hard up to read it in the very first place? Anyway, that's a flaw of mine. It was kind of interesting at first but got dragged out in the middle. And then when it ended, I was like...that's it? I think my irritation at the heroine is a major factor to that. In the middle, I think she's unreasonable to Elias. I also find Elias and Alex backbone-less. Especially whenever the heroine suddenly bitches at some stuffs. Anyway, I only wanted to read it because it's contemporary. But yeah, I know contemporary in a reverse harem settings is pretty much challenging. Anyway, this is just book 1 so I'll wait and see for myself how it would pan out in book 2.

Great Premise, but too Long and Drawn Out

I decided to go get this book after enjoying one of the author's short stories that was really well done. This book was read using Immersion Reading while listening to the audiobook. The narrator, Poppy Jay Fox was perfect for this book. Mia was a well written character and the story was a nice one, yet this book dragged for me. We had plenty of character insight, but there was far too much filler for me. The scenes with Tom the gardener were good, but the scenes with the additional two men, Elias and Alex took a long time to get going. The dinners and party sections were far too long. Steamy sections were ok, but there was so much talking going on between all the characters, it tended to slow down and drag the book. I've chosen not to continue on with the rest of the series, since I didn't find it very interesting.

Mia's Men by Lucy Felthouse is a contemporary romance. This does have menage sex in the story, so it may not be for everyone. Mia's father left her everything in his will, with the stipulation that she marries within the year. She quickly goes from having nobody to having one man, then two more men and finally a possible fourth man. This is an entertaining read with plenty of drama, humor and sex. I enjoyed reading Mia's Men and would be happy to read more from Lucy Felthouse in the future.
Mia's Men is book 1 of The Heiress's Harem but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. It will leave you wanting to read the next book in the series though.

A simple concept - marriage or Mia loses her family's estate, job, money etc. However the choice must be 'appropriate' for her class standing. Her relationship with the staff not able to meet that standard!

She meets two best friends at a charity gala and it grows from there. Pleasant enough read, sweet dedication to Mia throughout.

Totally implausible and not enough steam or combinations for a 5* though.

Also I bought this on Audible... and found the voice narrating it very irritating, perhaps that is why I struggle to give it the 5*. Too prim and innocent sounding even in the most interesting situations.
