I picked this up at a library book sale and it is USEFUL. Think, dry farming meets French Intensive gardening. It is an easy read and the instructions are clear, even if a little wordy. If you follow the instructions amazing things will happen in your garden.

using it to plan my backyard garden for the spring. this book employs organic and biodynamic principles in a guide for the kitchen garden, perfect for a new yorker. and comes with bonus 70's-tastic diagrams. i like that it gives advice for various commitment and skill levels.

One of my favorite gardening books. Loads of info for "square foot gardening." Loads of information for gardeners with space limitations. Informative, laid out well, interesting to read. All around great resource.

This is a great gardening book. Everything you need to know about gardening in your backyard whether its big or small. I had to buy it.
