Great books always induce positive emotions! And this one here is a charmer! Robin Jones in the book he's written "Letter from Santa Claus" created such a wonderful piece! My boys loved it! We love it because we are getting a feel of Christmas every time, I share this story before bedtime. They also love the drawings, and they feel a deep connection to the love of family that the book shares. My children are close to their dad, and like the character in the story, their dad is always making sure ...more

ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS EVER WRITTEN- for children and adults!

I'm a thirty-three-year-old woman, and you wouldn't believe this, but I was crying the whole time when I read this book!

This is why it made me cry: First, is that it made me reminisce the Christmas Eve that I spent with my family when I was a girl. Second, is that it made me go back to that experience when my dad would spend some time with me reading my favorite book. Lastly, I also remembered the times when I was sick and spending ti

It's always great to be a child and never lose that child's spirit! In addition, having that revived in a story written by Robin Jones makes us adults and children connect to its meaning wholeheartedly! I loved and enjoyed reading this book- "Letter from Santa Claus"! Apart from the enjoyment, I believe that this book has all the right elements to make it amazing and fantastic! The first stop is the storyline! It's short, simple, and meaningful! I believe it makes a great impact on children who ...more

The best children's book by far- nothing beats it! I sincerely love the content!

The content is so sweet and heartwarming that it connects so much to the pure spirit of a child! The Santa Claus story giving attention to a child will always be something any child would love and adore! Santa also shared a part of his life with Robin and how his elves and Mrs. Santa help him. He also shared the name of his reindeers and why it snows every Christmas season. In addition, this sweet letter came from R

As a teacher, I always look for books that make a child's emotional wellbeing feel secured, happy, and liberated! Healthy emotions are always of prime importance to kids! Healthy emotions inspire the children to learn, it inspires them to come to school without feeling afraid, and it brings a good relationship with his classmates and his teachers. That is why I like this story because it brings that vibe out for children!

Robin Jones did a great job! From the catchy illustrations that showed ge

A great book and perfect for the whole family! I give high praise for its touching content! I believe that the content is the winning piece! The content alone will make anyone feel happy, hopeful, and enthusiastic. Nothing brightens anyone's day with the thought of Santa Claus! Santa Claus is the most magical man in a child's eyes! He makes every child's wish come true, and he considers the many good deeds you have done throughout the year. With the thought of Santa Claus, children get excited a ...more

Letter from Santa Claus, by Robin Jones is a 24 page children’s fantasy adventure that mixes a bit of reality right along with it. The time is early 1949, and Robin, our main character is a young boy who catches pneumonia and spends a considerable amount of time in the hospital recovering (almost a year). Later that year he writes a letter to Santa, in part because his father always read him the story about Rudolph. Santa writes back, bringing a magical story of the North Pole, his reindeer and ...more

Enriching, positive, and well-meaning! Such a lovely book and with lovely illustrations too- I was smitten!

This is how all children's books should be! All books should connect to a child’s soul! This book does that because the content alone is all about Santa Claus and a child needing to feel hopeful to spend Christmas Eve with his family. I like that it depicts the child's pure spirit and how his innocence and joy influence his ability to feel well and how this can also be true for adults.

A beautiful and sweet book perfect for the whole family!

I've always wished that I could read something magical, simple, and also inspiring for my children. And so, I took the chance on this book and read it before buying it. First of all, I was surprised at how it affected me. It made me feel so close to the story like it was also happening to our life as a family and happening to Darren, my four-year-old son. Darren always had this pure and hopeful spirit that I can see from the boy in this st

I and my wife Zarah are fond of reading bedtime stories to our twins. Right after Christmas, we had introduced this book to Kevin and William. Kevin and William are six years old, and man, they are a handful! Moreover, when they learned about the message of this book, it has given them a sense of discipline and awareness. Well, first, they developed some sympathy for Robin, the boy in the story.

He was not feeling well, and yet he maintained the best behavior and enthusiasm and never complained

The spirit of a child reveling in this magical story! This story will entertain and will bring so much joy to your 'lil one. First is that it will give them hope! In this story, the boy, who is the lead character, went through a health ordeal, and yet the story about Santa Claus, thinking of him, writing him a letter and making him know that he knows that he has been good all year long, gave him hope. It made him anticipate Christmas Eve with his family, and it brightened up his mood. Hope is al ...more

The BEST STORY for children! It has the best content which will make every child happy! The story of Santa Claus is always a winner, more so if you add a touch of thoughtfulness!

Santa writing Robin a letter and sharing stories about his life when he was recovering from pneumonia in the hospital was the perfect surprise to make Robin feel better! Moreover, having wonderful parents and having his dad support him throughout his ordeal was also the best way to make Robin feel secured and loved! Tha

I respect and admire the author for creating a wonderful story for children! He nailed it! I think the content is fitting for children, and I am sure that any child would love it! A letter from Santa Claus talking about his life in the North Pole, talking about his elves, Mrs. Claus and his reindeers is a treat for every child! I remember how it felt when I was a child and anticipating Christmas Eve with my family, and the book captures that essence throughout the whole content! It's fascinating ...more

There is a story of Jesus for adults, and there is a story of Santa Claus for children! And this book tells you a lot about love, kindness, and emotional support that we all need to embrace, any time of the year.

This story is a great influence on my son Duke! Duke is four, and we are close to him and the rest of the children in the family too. Duke loves bedtime stories, especially stories about cars and objects. We felt we needed to balance out other stories that connect to him emotionally. So

This book is perfect for my son! I wish I had this book before Christmas time. Bruce has been in and out of the hospital because of asthma attacks and has not been feeling good lately. We had to spend Christmas in the hospital and made sure that Bruce and the rest of my children enjoyed the quick celebration we had. Moreover, one of the ways I bond with him by reading him short stories before he sleeps. And so, I grabbed this book because I think it looks meaningful and has very attractive drawi ...more

Magical, sweet and touching!

This book will bring you back to the time when you were a little boy or a little girl who believed in fairy tales, Santa Claus, and the magical world! I truly enjoyed it! In addition, I believe that this book will be more of a hit for children, but then adults can also reminisce about it- like I did! ;-) A child can easily connect to this story! How a child thinks, feels, and assesses their world is always about fantasy, magic, and innocence. As you can see, the book

Sweet and lovely illustrations! The illustrations are emotionally connective and brings you back to the time when you believed in Santa Claus! I can't help but reminisce about my magical childhood years and remember how I used to think about my Christmas Eve with my family and feeling excited waiting for Santa to deliver my wish! Furthermore, as an adult who truly enjoyed it, I am sure the children would enjoy it even more! They would enjoy it because of its story about Santa Claus and his life ...more

How sweet and magical! Brings me to tears because it feels not too long ago when my children loved being surprised with gifts and stories about Santa!

I believe that this book is the best book for children! I say that because I can see that the content is appealing for them, as it talks about the life of Santa, his elves, Mrs. Claus, and his reindeers! Furthermore, it also talks about family relationships! Talking and sharing the bond in the family is also a beautiful and touching way to bring a

The best story for families! I believe that this story is perfect for my children! I see it as impacting on us, and not only for our children. I believe that when I and my wife start to become busy at work, we forget to care for them, and this story is a perfect reminder to constantly keep that bond with my children- especially when they need it the most! In addition, I believe that this story has the best impact on children as well because it gives them that sense of hope and that magical feeli ...more

The drawings depicted the emotions of the characters so well! The scripts are also perfect for children to comprehend easily! I also love the content as it connects to children aged 3-8 years old.

The content speaks about a child's relationship to the story of Santa Claus and how the pureness of their hearts always brings about whatever they wish in this world! As an adult, we forget how to manifest our wishes because it is tainted with something not positive, but a child's heart is so pure that

This is a story that will touch your heart! As an adult, it connected to me so well! It reminded me of my relationship with my dad when I was a girl. My dad reading me bedtime stories, taking care of me when I was not feeling well and always making sure that my hopes are high when I'm not in the best mood and health. In addition, I believe this story will impact children. The mind and the heart of a child will keep the meaning of this story in their hearts. It's always good to keep the positive ...more

I received this book through Goodreads Giveaways for an honest review.

As an adult I'd rate this book a 2.5. I found a few grammar issues and some words overly repetitive. The story was interesting. There were some good talking points to have with kids.

My kids really liked the story.

The illustrations were beautiful.

I received this book through the First Reads program.

Letter from Santa Claus is a nicely illustrated story about a little boy in the hospital with pneumonia in 1949. He writes a letter to Santa and receives one back from Santa. He is released from the hospital just after receiving the letter.

The book is published by iUniverse. The price seems a little out of line for a 24 page paperback.
