In 2010, four states threaten to secede from the Union, using the Glen Canyon dam as their bargaining chip, and the ensuing politics leaves the primary negotiator wondering who exactly is behind the secessionist movement. 25,000 first printing.
Slow buildup to the worst ending of any book I have ever read. Additionally, it would have been smart for the author to have someone with military experience proofread as there were several glaring mistakes concerning the military aspect of the story (I.e. the number of passengers that an Apache helicopter can hold…NONE!).
