A Color Me Beautiful for the body, this hands-on workbook is part fashion savvy, part image building, and part inspiration--to help any woman transform her figure with the next garment she wears. Packed with guidelines, tips, quizzes, and drawings to help women separate minro figure flaws from major ones. 300 illustrations.
I have read this over and over. First you identify your figure challenges, then the book tells you which clothing styles would look good on you.
It covers things like which necklines look good. How wide your pant legs should be. Even little things like what your accessories should be like and which cuff styles will look best on you. Incredibly detailed advice. And really very helpful. If you know what to look for and avoid in clothing styles you save so much time shopping.
And if you are making your clothing like I do you don't even bother to make things that catch your eye but go against your figure advise. It's like having the What Not To Wear team at your finger tips.
The photos are out dated, and are starting to look a little funny. But grab a copy of this book before it's gone and learn how to dress your best.
This is a GREAT book for learning how to dress yourself to show off your figure to it's greatest potential. It tells you about fashion faux pas as well as figure problem no-no's. And it shows you how to tell if your figure really is out of balance in any way and what to do about disguising it. I love this book.
