Kind of outdated terminology referring to marginalized groups which is counterproductive considering the subject material and the attempt to introduce people to thinking very critically and open mindedly about the world.

This textbook is terrific and terrifying; it has validated and exacerbated nearly every emotion I’ve felt over the past decade. Truly a masterpiece (albeit, often melancholic) that should’ve been required reading for everyone.

Learning more about Sociology was a pleasant experience with this book. I will say, I felt certain authors laid their bias on thick, which distracted from what should have been an unbiased sociological experience.
