Mentha Spicata El Corazon!

Rate this book
From the tippiest of toes, down the well of my imagination or like my heart is a ship and my mind is the storm. Follow me out the window, rounding corners of the soul, finding deeper depths than darkness goes and words that only managed to escape by hand. This is Mentha Spicata El Corazon! A collection of poems, journal entries, quips, pleasantries, retorts, and personal idioms from ages sixteen to twenty-six, arranged in days and moods.

I have been a fan of Jesse Cale for quite a long time. He has always been an inspiration to me, and watching him and his journey with mental and physical health has inspired me to take better care of myself. When I first learned he was going to publishing poetry, I was skeptical. I am kinda picky about the poetry I read and part of didn't want to read his work in fear that I wouldn't like it. However, I loved it. His poetry was very open and it relayed a lot of emotions that I could relate to. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read an honest collection of poetry and journal entries.
