Normally, I am a fan of the Grumpy Cat memes. However, when you pack a dozen of them back-to-back, in a framework of just being a jerk, they just aren't funny anymore.

Countdown to Kindergarten: Letter Y. NC Digital Kids.

I needed a Y book that was available thorough NC Digital Kids Library and this fit the bill...barely. Not my favorite story but passable. Probably would not use again.

I love Grumpy Cat and the illustrations in this book are cute. But seriously, why should we glorify being a jerk to little impressionable kids? There is enough cynicism out there that they will pick up. No need for them to get an early start.

This cat really is grumpy. Almost bordering on not wanting to finish this short tale with my niece because the cat was such a brat.
