This is so sweet and romantic. Cole is kind, easy going and charming. Jennifer is sweet, strong, determined and lonely. They meet at the grocery store, each getting their Thanksgiving dinner, and decide to eat together. They have a very easy, friendly rapport so they spend a lot of time together. Each had a bad breakup, each is wary, and each develops feelings. It's very romantic and warm, and the whole town encourages it.

I really enjoyed this book. I hate the reason (cheating is never ok) Jennifer felt like she had to move but glad she did because she and Cole are one adorable couple. Shared past hurts aren't the only thing that draws them to each other - definite sparks were flying. Hated the Jen's ex and sister - both still so selfish. I did think Jennifer handled way better than I would have. The cover is beautiful. Great epilogue.

This was such a sweet romantic story that takes place between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not only are both Jennifer and Cole dealing with breakups in the last year, now they have to deal with being alone for Thanksgiving. But will a chance encounter lead to something more for them? And how fun would it be to have a live nativity show each year for Christmas!
Sweetly written story that captivated me right from the very first page and the chemistry between Cole and Jennifer kept me totally enthralled until the turn of the very last page!

I'm a big fan of Barbara McMahon's books. I've read all of them, and truly enjoy each one. This one is a favorite because I love Christmas love stories. Jennifer and Cole become friends first, then fall in love as they learn to trust each other. I recommend this book!
