The book explains all kinds of numbers, from simple counting and arrangement of objects, to distances and quantities, to units of measurement and temperature, in a way that is easy for children up to about age 12 to understand.
And it's useful for young children who are interested in numbers and for children who have had difficulty with math in school.
When children learn mathematics as Visual Learners, their understanding progresses rapidly.
This is one of the first maths books I've seen, but definitely a favourite! When my 4 year old pulled this out at bed time, he demanded I go through the first 23 pages with him because he enjoyed the structure so much. And he would have read more if I'd let him - but it was 9:30 by the time I insisted we stop.
Clearly and concisely explains math visually using common core concepts. Great for children...and parents helping children. Takes the reader through division and fractions, as well as early geometry. Maria
A great reference book for ages 4-8 and those who help them with homework and haven't seen a 10-frame before. Visually appealing and interesting to flip through recreationally (my 6 y.o. chose it for a bedtime story...). Highly recommended.
