This was the textbook for my introduction to social work class. I can honestly say this is one of the best textbooks I have ever read! The information is presented in a very clear, straightforward manner. The book touched upon various topics pertaining to the field of social work and gave very well thought out explanations for each topic covered. It was written very well, and I understood each concept being presented. For an introductory textbook this book covered a lot of ground. I definitely feel that this book gave me a much better understanding of the social work profession. 5 stars out of 5!
