This is one awesome science book for kids!

What a delightful and colorful science book. A great way to explain the beginning of the universe to a child. Very informative and entertaining at the same time! I loved it! Wonderful illustrations!

The Annabel and Aiden series of science for children and gorgeously illustrated, including supplemental information for adults hidden as part of the illustration (and somewhat hard to read) The books discuss evolution, the big bang, myths in a way to provoke children to ask even more questions that parents are prepared to answer using the adult text. I recommend that parents read the book first before their kids start asking questions!
The reason I don't give the books 5 stars is that Becker has attempted to write the children's text in rhyme, which doesn't always succeed—and he is no poet. However kids seem to enjoy rhymes, so maybe it isn't a problem for them.

They live their lives, then die without fuss.
They fall apart, and come together,
forming plants like Earth, with crazy weather."

Beautiful!

I have no words for how beautiful this book truly is. The author and illustrator did an amazing job of bringing to life an entire narrative -blended with both fact and fiction - around the oft uttered phrase “we are stardust”. Whether you are spiritual or of the sciences, I think everyone can appreciate this gorgeous book and it’s message.

My son received this from the Literati book club. I simply cannot get through reading this out loud without crying. It is just such a lovely explanation of cosmology and the Universe and our place within it.

Beautiful

The illustrations are beautiful. The words on the ebook were not always clear on their backgrounds. On a physical page the formatting would create a neat effect. I loved how they explained that we are part of our world.

Kindle version hard to read

Nice story, but would definitely recommend the actual book. I had to stop and squint to make out the words on several pages, which detracted from the story's flow.

cute

The illustrations are absolutely stunning. It’s definitely an easy to understand book, which is perfect considering it is a children’s book. It’s one I plan on reading to my younger cousins and my god sister.

Cute kids book

Doesn't really go into big bang like I was hoping but it mentions it enough for small. children to grasp great illustrations

Too difficult for a 6 year old to understand, but she tried. Good art and interesting facts.
