Chock-full of suspense, sexual situations and love bonds, this story really rockets the reader into Mario’s fast-pace life with lots of different women, involving sexual and illegal dealings. While this graphic description of his sexual escapades can be tedious in other books, the author makes it equally as compelling as the climax. The characters here are realistic, genuine, and interesting. Readers will become invested in nearly everyone they’re introduced to. There’s also the perfect amount of genuine love and affection sprinkled in to tease, yet not give away the kind of action and drama lurking right around the corner. Sami and Mario’s, on again, off again relationship is powerful and exciting. The way it ends makes this book difficult to put down until the final page. The book is worth reading simply because it’s a highly entertaining story with enough emotions to hit you where it matters.

Intriguing
The kidnapping at the end of the book and the cliff-hanger of it all is very intriguing I love that word as it leads you to the mystery of it all. This book keeps you intrigued and wanting more. I loved the traveling that he did and moving us out of the states. I think it was very well described and made me feel like I was inside the book. It just felt a little longer then the rest. Great book again Mr. Hatcher!

Departing far from the previous slice of life format, Freefall is nothing more than a fantasy romance novel. While the emotional writing of certain threads of the fallout of the action scenes strikes well, the weak happenstance romance falls short. Weakest entry in the series from a literary standpoint but still worth a read.
