Jedna z dziwniejszych książek, które czytałam.

Bardzo dobry tom. Autorka ponownie serwuje nam gotycką powieść pełną toksycznych relacji, zazdrości i pożądania. Ta część skupia się na przeszłości trójki pobocznych bohaterów- Uccellina, Arapaggia i Józefiny, a akcja rozgrywa się na dwóch osiach czasowych - II wojna światowa oraz barok. Jako osoba interesująca się historią, muszę szczerze pochwalić świetnie oddane realia epoki. Muzyka w epoce baroku jest niezwykle ciekawym, a rzadko poruszanym tematem. Książka jest napisana niebanalnym, malowniczym językiem, co jest standardem tej autorki.

Mogłaby być dłuższa 🤔 Mam wrażenie, że w okolicach 3/4 książka przyspiesza. Chętnie poznałabym wydarzenia mające miejsce zaraz po przemianie Aleksandra. Mam nadzieję, że autorka wróci jeszcze do historii tej niezwykłej pary.
