I'm a big Adam Gidwitz fan, and this didn't disappoint. The first book takes place in the scary Pine Barrens of New Jersey, with references to the Jersey Devil and other folklore from my home state. This, mixed with Gidwitz's penchant for mysterious intrigue and humor, make for a great tale that is ultimately about friendship. Keep 'em coming!
