A totally inspirational story. So many opportunities to 'give up' not taken. These guys are heros, whose legends will live on in the majesty of their work. A truly epic track and great little tale of it's creation. Thanks Weasel, Stacky, Wayne, Phil and all the rest. Buy this book - support the track.

I read this book while hiking the Old Ghost Road. An incredible story and the best hike I've ever completed in New Zealand - do it!! And bring the book along (it's worth the pack weight, I promise).
