More of a 3.5 than a 3. I was disappointed by the book at first for a few reasons, but by the halfway point, I found myself thoroughly enjoying Bubz's words and advice.

Some background: I've been watching Bubzbeauty since I was 11 years old. I am now 20. I don't really watch her beauty videos anymore, but I love her vlogs. Bubz has been an uplifting force in my life for a long time now. So when she announced that she had written a book, I was ecstatic and immediately preordered. I guess my expect

This book is a wonderful reminder to choose happiness, to give back, to find balance, and to trust your journey. I really appreciated Lindy being so open and honest about her life and her marriage. I also loved her advice and wisdom about YouTube.
There were some quotes I had seen before on Pinterest, but I loved how Lindy added her unique story to tie in with them. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, inspiring read! 💛

What I liked most about Lindy’s writing is she is not preachy when it comes to delivering advice. Reading this was like watching one of her vlogs; I could hear her voice in my head, and I knew this was authentic Bubz advice. I ended up writing some of my favourite lines in my gratitude journal, and the one I’ve been putting to practise is, “Be willing to learn, and be willing to try.” It’s already made a difference for me!

This was an easy read but I'm not sure it has inspired me to change much about my life. The key takeaways are that if you're confident in who you are, like who you are and are kind to others than you have what it takes to have a happy life.

These things are easier said than done. I found the book was a lot of story of "this is how I used to be, now I am more confident/kind/considerate and things are better" which is great but there was little in how to achieve those things. Changing your state of

"What better gift can you give someone than making them feel more beautiful inside?"

I decided to start the year of by trying to get inspired to work on and improve myself. I don't really have any resolutions for the new year, because I know I have trouble sticking to them, but I thought that starting the year with trying to get an even more positive outlook on life couldn't hurt.

Then, last December, Lindy Tsang (Bubzbeauty on YouTube) had her first bo

I got this book because like many other people I have been following bubz for many years. With that being said, this book was quite a disappointment. It read like any other self help book, and didn't provide any new insight. It was semi-interesting to read her experiences but the followup with the preaching made it unbearable. This is not to say that the content of self help books are useless, but that her rendition of it is no different from those already in stores.
Willing to try. Willing to learn.

The words I literally live by in every single way, shape, and form (except for maybe food because I'm really picky).

I've been following Bubz since she started YouTube. I remember when she was like the third most-subscribed YouTuber in the beauty guru department. Her beauty tutorials are the only ones I've ever attempted (beachy hair waves, Park Bom make-up tutorial, just to name a the few that I've tried). While my friends who had introduced me to her stopped w

The overall 3-star rating is an average of 4 stars in a certain chapter, and 1 star in the rest of the book.

I initially downloaded this book because I grew up with Bubzbeauty’s videos (or rather, Bubbiosity, I enjoyed her sense of humour), and this is more of a walk down memory lane instead of wanting to be given life advice.

The marriage chapter was raw, and extremely sincere. In fact, it was almost the sole r

I have been a fan of Bubz and her YouTube channel for years. When I purchased this book last year, I couldn't wait to see what tips she'd give to being unstoppable. What I read was a deep, relatable, touching book that not only told me to view life in a positive perspective, but to love myself, and tell myself that I matter. Her book has touched my heart, and I will do my best to follow her tips and words of encouragement.

I would really like to give this book Zero stars but that would not show up on the average. I technically did not finish the Book, I skimmed the last 30 pages.
I have been a fan of Lindy since I was 12 I watched her videos to help me clear my skin and her Vlogs really do give you an escape to a made-up world! I was so excited when I over a year ago she announced she was writing a book, and she made it sound like it would be a memoir. It wasn't. It was a sad excuse for a self-help book for upper-

I honestly don't understand how this book could be a disappointment. Sure of her advice may not be new to some, but this is still a book worth reading. In fact, I believe that the "generic" advice she teaches is needed because we often tend to forget them. But there is a lot more new and interesting advice that I've never heard of and really opened my eyes. this book will really change the way you view things, especially if you're a follower of Lindy.
Highly recommend!

First, I love the person Lindy is, bravo for her in completing and publishing a book! I will admit that it did take me a while to get going and unfortunately, there are an overload of cliches that I wish were better left somewhere on her blog rather than her book, for me it slowed down the reading and held back her stories. I did skim most of the cliches, sorry!

Lindy invites readers into her unique life and experiences. I've been watching Lindy on YouTube off and on for years and she's always b

*265 pages. As I truely admire Lindy's optimistic perspective from her weekly vlogs, I bought her book to get to know how she would inject it to us, her viewers. I didn't know at all what to expect. The first part of the book was interesting, as I discovered having many similarities with her I didn't know. The middle was a little bit slower to read. In the end, I loved her messages. She also lists up what she has taught us in the past chapter. If only I knew! I have post-its filled everywhere to ...more

I, alongside many others, have chosen to read Lindy's book because we have been her follower on Instagram/ Youtube for quite some time. Upon completion of reading this book, I heaved a sigh of relief. Finally, I'm done( after 10 months). This book wasn't really an enjoyable read for me, and here's why:

I felt that many of the segments and words used in this book that contributed to her book title of being "unstoppable" were such generic advice that I could find anywhere else on the Internet. It a

The book makes me strive to be a better person and be happier.

This was a very cute and very positive read but there was not much going on. I’ve followed Bubzbeauty on social media soon after she started YouTube and was excited that she had released a novel.. however it was more cheesy advice than it was autobiographical. It does get more personal and interesting towards the end and it’s definitely worth the read if you’re a fan of hers.

I have been following Lindy on YouTube for quite a long time now and was excited when I heard the announcement that she was working on a book. I bought the book knowing that it was a philosophical self-help book, but it surprised me by including more intimate details of Lindy's life than she had shared on her YouTube channel. As silly as it sounds, I feel more connected to Lindy after reading her book, and it was a great choice for my first book of January 2018, since it was an incredibly inspir ...more

I’ve been following Lindy on Youtube for years. I think she’s the only Youtube I’ve stuck with for so many years. I’ve always loved her, she inspired me to become a positive human being. Watching her be happy and positive instantly makes my day better.

I loved this little book. I’ve read some reviews stating that they were dissapointed because she didn’t write we didn’t know yet. Well, I see this book as a reminder. Yes, we’ve heard the things she mentioned in her books before, but isn’t it nice

I loved this book. Really inspired me and made me feel much better and more at peace with my current life situation. It is all about finding balance, and being able to feel joy in the now. Only we are responsible for our own happiness. 💙

There were many lessons in this book. Many we have heard before, but this time, we are hearing it from a caring friend who's written her advice in a very friendly manner. We are reminded that only we are responsible for our happiness, and that we can achieve inne

"You are the one who is truly responsible for your own happiness."

Even though I've seen similar versions of this quote in many other places, it still felt nice to be reminded by none other than THE Bubzbeauty, whom I've followed since I was 14 years old quote it in her debut Teen & YA Philosophy novel.

"Okay, so now I needed experience to get experience? I was doomed."

Yes girl! This quote really resonated with my job hunting experiences in my Uni years.

This was on my unofficial want-to-read, so i consider myself lucky to have access to the eBook through Scribed. Reading Bubz’s (Lindy’s) words of wisdom from her own life experience is humbling. Actually, getting to know Lindy and even seeing the sides that weren’t broadcasted on YouTube helped me understand the person behind the screen (literally) and the impact her journey to building self confidence, achieving self-acceptance & finding self-love has on her atttiude towards life. I took my time reading this one, and tried to use it as the guide it was intended to be.

As a 28-year-old who began watching Lindy's YouTube videos in 2008, I find myself in a place where I still love to watch her vlogs but don't necessarily need to learn and grow through her channels as I did in my teenage years. There was a time when I would go to her channel to learn how to apply eyeliner, get creative with my hair and wardrobe, love myself from within, and just be thankful for the small bless

Even though I read it in 7 days (because I am learning for my final exams) I wished I would never finish and the book would continue forever.

Reading, I felt likr talking to a friend, or rather listening and like a sponge absorbing every single word.

I have been a fan od Lindy for, I think, 8 years, and felt super excited when she announced her book. She may be a Youtuber, buy I knew it would not be just another youtuber's book.

I pre-ordered the book, and surprisingly received it much earlier than anticipated, and--while I might be a little biased since I've watched Lindy/Bubz's YouTube videos basically since she started--I thought the book was absolutely amazing! ^^ <3

I haven't read very many self-help books, so I will admit I don't have much to compare this to, but I genuinely believe that it's a really good, and uplifting read. It's pretty short, so it's easy to get through, and every page just makes you feel all

I have followed Bubz for a long time and though I don't keep up with her as much anymore, I was excited to learn about her book. Like all books, the impact on readers vary. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and found it extremely relatable. I know many label her book as your typical self help book partly due to the jargon used. However, I don't believe what she wrote was any different from what she's been preaching for the last decade. It was very much Lindy and what she represented. Her ...more

I love this book. My sister got it for me for my birthday. I read it while on my first trip to LA. I love how as I was reading it I could hear bubz's voice. I finished the book on my way home from LA. This book spoke to me on so many levels. As I was waiting for my plane, I almost cried while reading it. I tried hard to keep it together. This made me realized how much love and support I have for Lindy, Tim, Issac, and Ayla.

I've followed Lindy (or Bubz) on YouTube for years now and I've always loved listening to her advice. She feels like a big sister most times.
This book is beautifully and thoughtfully written and I enjoyed every minute of it. It made me think about myself and how I act in certain situations. I'm always up for self-reflection and this book was really inspiring.
My favourite part however, has to be how open Lindy (and Tim) were about their struggles as fresh parents. It's amazing how us viewers ha

While I love Bubz, I felt like a lot of this book was filled with stories and quotes I already knew of. I think it's good for a younger audience, although the part with her and Tim writing about their marriage was really powerful. I felt that that was more something that I could take away from HER experiences...vs. someone else's. She writes:
