There may be a fun story in here. It is about a band of teenage kids with supernatural gifts who band together for companionship and to keep at bay a group of demons that wish to destroy their small town.
I don't know. There were too many grammatical errors and misused words for me to follow the story.
I only read two chapters.

The book at the beginning was very difficult to understand because I didn't pay attention to the fact that this is a sequel story.
Overall I enjoyed this book and I definitely want to read the first book.
The book will leave you captivated and breathless and children of all ages will enjoy it.
I want to thank Netgalley and Keeble Press for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review. ...more

It is Christmastime as Magdalena is getting used to her new witch power and things have quieted down but not for long.
Deciding she misses her friends after being holed up in room, she decides to go camping with them. As night falls she is woken up by werewolves as she investigates not wanting to put them in danger but they soon follow her.
This is a quick paced middle grade adventurer.

I would like to thank Keebie Press and the Netgalley website for this partnership.
I was immediately drawn to this beautiful book cover, except that I didn't know when I asked Netgalley that it was a second book in the series, so it makes me want to read the whole series.

The Slippery Slope by M. Gail Grant is a sequel that exposes the evil that attempts to take over Magdalena's community. She deals with the concerns of accepting her powers as a witch and the other problems of becoming a teenager. As the Christmas holidays approach, her and crew take steps to conquer evil in Lily Brooke.

This was an excellent instalment to an excellent series. I've greatly enjoyed following Magdalena on her journey of self-growth and discovery. Readers, please know that this is the second book in the series so if the opening seems confusing this would be why. I recommend reading the first as the story is a continuation.
