Although working as a baker for many years, writing has been a passion for Chris for some time, starting in high school and reigniting again in 2006, when he first got the inspiration to begin writing 'The Man In Black.'
After completing that project eight years later, he took part in NaNoWriMo in November 2014, culminating into a project named 5PM. Deciding to self-publish, 5PM came out in February 2015, and then The Man In Black in August.
2016 saw the release of 7PM, and in that same year, his writing path met with that of Canadian author Kate Reedwood. A mutual respect of each other's work ignited an interest in working together, creating the Legacy Hunter series, the first of which to come out in July 2017.
Apart from writing, Chris enjoys travelling, reading, watching movies and all things geeky. He resides in Coffs Harbour with his wife and three children.
Chris will be at Nexus Con on July 29 celebrating the release of the first book in his Legacy Hunter series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Axel is searching for his ex-girlfriend Element Cruz, they did not part on good terms and he is uncertain of what her reaction will be when they meet again face to face. He suspects he’s know where to find her and he is trying to figure out the best way to get in and out of the location with drawing as little attention as possible.

Element is totally focused on getting her sister out of danger. She is infiltrating the slave auctions hoping to be able to save her and get her to a safe location. When she crosses paths with Axel again she is annoyed but also happy to see him again.

This story is full of action, plot twists and lots of snarky banter, however for some reason I just could not connect with the characters. Not sure why because they all seemed to mesh well together. Maybe too many species all angling for your attention, too many twists on twists and the seemingly inexhaustible one bad thing after another bad thing that just had me a bit overwhelmed. I was just always on the periphery of the story and never fully invested with the characters like I was when I read “Nightfall” by J.B. Cameron. It’s not a bad book, just for me I was not able to make the connection with these characters that I would have liked.

Just the mention of sci-fi, soul mates and romance will sit me up for a looksee at a book that I just might like. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review... I love aliens stories... The alien Romance just gets to me somehow it's just the fact that someday we might be able to meet somebody out there... But anyways onto the review this story was hot it was burning in between pages... The storyline was very descriptive and very detailed... The characters had a lot of descriptions to them of what their characters looked like and how their personalities was so that made for us the reader to understand the character more...

I loved this book! It's got suspense, lots of action, humor, drama and some great alien characters! It moves at a very nice pace and will keep your interest from start to finish. I loved the two main characters, Axel and Elle, and especially loved Shiznit! The characters are so interesting and the story is so great. This is a sci-fi romance that will not disappoint you! I highly recommend it.

Space travel? Check. Aliens? Check. Action and adventure? Check. The Legacy Hunter series has it all, and if you love science fiction it's a must read!

Star Keeper is the second book in the Legacy Hunter series, and it is an action packed adventure from the first page to the last. There were times I wanted to put it down because I was afraid of what was going to happen next, but I just could not do it. In fact I read the entire book in one sitting, because I just couldn't stop reading.

Axel is back, with his sidekick, Shiznit, as they continue Axel's quest to reunite with Element Cruz, the woman he loves, and collect star drives in an effort to save earth. Along the way they rescue Element's sister, Caree, from slavers, meet new villains, revisit old ones, visit new worlds, and meet new alien beings.

Star Keeper is well written, and highly entertaining. If you pick it up, you won't be disappointed!

I was given a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Wow this is an action packed story that moves along with many twists and turns from the start to the end. Loved this second book in the Legacy Hunter Series.
Once again it features our hero. Axel and heroine Ellie, whom Axel has been searching for the last six months . These two are perfect for each other, both love and fight with there whole hearts and are loyal to those in their inner circles. Love these two and this story and universe that the authors have created. The twists and surprises that occur in this story only enhance the readers enjoyment without distracting from the story of Axel trying to help Ellie in her quest ( all while having a bounty on him)
A well written romantic space adventure that leaves you wanting more.
Five plus stars , looking forward to the next book in the series.

* Given an ARC Copy by the authors for my honest review

This was a terrific follow-up to Queen Killer as Axel's adventures continue, while trying to also be with the love of his life - a woman who already has more than enough to deal with.

The banter between the diverse cast of characters is extremely fun but also helps to get across just how much tension there is, as well as how distinct they all are from each other.

The book's synopsis has the story involving a risky situation at a slave auction but it becomes so much more than that as a story as the auction really is just the jumping off point to get everyone in place.

It very much gets across the various types of slavery that exist in the sci-fi world of the series and exploitation on different levels. By the end of this book I very much despised one of the recurring characters and sincerely hope they get their comeuppance at some point. The main duo of Axel and Ellie though? I'm definitely looking forward to their continued saga, especially given the 'shock' ending to this book.

If you love action packed sci-fi, this continuation of Legacy Hinter does not disappoint and opens it’s very first chapter with edge of your seat, white knuckle gripping action. Axel Ryan is back! He and his trusty side-kick, Shiznit are finally on Element Cruz’s trail.

Calculated risks on Ellie’s part and maybe not so calculated ones on Axel’s part are driving factors in the race against time to save Ellie’s sister from being auctioned off in a trafficking ring and locate a star drive. Axel and Ellie haven’t seen each other in six months, sparks fly and complications abound. Verbally gripping, the tension builds and love, lust and hurt combusts between Ellie and Axel. Throw Hendrix and Iris into the mix and who needs enemies when you have frenemies like these two??

Banding together to out run Ellie’s evil mother and the Core in an effort to save her sister, Caree, and Axel, they land on an unlikely planet filled with arid desert and a tribe surviving underground in an unimaginable paradise. Plans are made, plots thicken like thieves and double-cross operatives show up to complicate things further.

Star Keeper is a story of one man’s love for a woman that he will travel any universe for and sacrifice everything for a second chance. Well written! A copy was provided for an honest review. Highly recommend this series! 5 out of 5 stars.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I don't read books by two authors due to the fact you can normally spot the two different writing styles and frankly thats annoying. But oh how Kate and Chris like to prove me wrong!
I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK!
It took me lesa than a day to read it and honesly, I didn't want to put it down and when I was forced to put it down I couldn't stop thinking about it and how it would end.
This bokk had it all, action, compelling characters and a love story that ran with the story not dominated it as many love stories tend to do and that ENDING. Now I don't like to toot my own horn but I can normally tell how a book will end but that blindsighted me.
Great job guys! I need the third book like now!

I still love Shiznit as a character. He's extremely unique.
Axel and Ellie had a lot more chemistry in this book and it felt more natural.
I actually don't hate Iris.

Overall, it has the same sort of feeling I got from Xenos by Dan Abnett.

It could have greatly benefited from another round of editing.
