Story 🌟🌟🌟.5
The plot of the second book is better! More intriguing and more adventures. I love the idea of Violetta as a fierce mom who would do anything to protect her daughter. And the twists about Elinor's power and Arlas' motives leave me choking on excitement. But the plot is still too grim to my taste. And the involvement of Tobias in this book leaves a great question to me.

The worldbuilding is still on point. How the author describes each creature were divine. The battle scenes

This was an enjoyable book. It gave me plenty of reasons to keep moving from one chapter to another in hopes of finding out what happened in the end. The book has everything you look for in a fantasy book when it comes to the basics, but I would have liked to see a little more development in both the characters and their world they lived in. I would have loved a little more background on a few places they visited during the story. Overall this is a good book that I would recommend to fantasy rea ...more

Having read the first of The Legend of Peradon series, I was very interested to see where author Dax Munro would take this epic-fantasy. I was not disappointed with the story that evolved. The author also did an excellent job of setting the scene of Peradon and the elemental beings that inhabit it, for anyone coming to this series at Book 2.
It is five years on since The Flame Queen murdered her evil husband Ryore and consigned him to eternity. Their daughter, Princess Elinor has no knowledge of

Mr. Buchelli you’ve done it again.

The thrilling sequel to Phoenix is very action packed and full of suspense that leaves you wanting to turn the pages faster than you can handle. You need to know what happens next, you need to know that things will turn out okay in the end. I thought the first one was good? This one took the cake. I was left feeling nervous and anxious about the characters and what will happen next. Definitely a story to get your mind hooked on though I suggest book 1 first or y

Symbiote is the second book in the series, and it picks up five years after Phoenix ends. Violetta is now on the throne, ruling over the Flame Realm. She also has her five year old daughter, Elinor, with her. With her father now gone, Violetta has to rely on her trusted friends from other Realms to help aid her whenever she may need it. But with rumors swirling and a strange storm raging over Peradon, Violetta's life has become a lot more stressful. And to top it

Symbiote (The Legends of Peradon Book 2) by Dax Munro is a continuation of the epic-fantasy adventure begun by Munro with Phoenix. Although I hadn't read Phoenix beforehand, it really wasn't necessary, as the author did a good job of explaining the world of Peradon and the four elemental realms that inhabit it.
Elinor, the daughter of the Flame Queen Violetta, has been kidnapped and Violetta, her secret love Xyhoni and Lord Jork must fight their way through challenges and trials to discover her

An action-packed fantasy. After Violetta's five-year old daughter is abducted, Violetta must discover where her daughter has been taken. Her travels take her to many sacred places and encounter terrifying obstacles. Once again in this sequel, the world of the four kingdoms is well developed. You don't have to know all the details of the first book to enjoy this one, although you'd get more out of it if you you knew the full story. The author does provide a brief overview of book 1 to help set th ...more

Although I hadn't read the first of this series, I was able to read and enjoy this second journey to the fantasy world of Peradon as a stand alone. In a world governed by elemental magic, a woman, a queen, journeys to try and rescue her child. A classic tale of good versus evil set in a realm of fantasy and magic. There is plenty to enthrall and absorb you within this book.

Paradon is about to be set on its end again. It is Violetta's worst nightmare come to life. Her daughter, Elinor's fifth birthday has arrived, but several things bode ill for her and the child she loves. The future she sees grows bleaker by the hour and then the worst happens, her daughter disappears. The search is on and the price may be too great to pay.

I was given a copy of this book by the author and in return I would give an honest review.
This was a different genre than I normally read? But I enjoyed it. A well written story that flowed well.
Five years earlier Violetta"s husband, the Frost Emperor died and she hopes her daughter Elinor never finds put what sort of man he was or how he died. When a storm blankets Peradon, and Elinor goes missing, Violetta hopes the secrets she has don't help things spiral out of control. Along with Lord Jork
